Situated conveniently in the Long Island City district of Queens, Wingate by Wyndham Long Island City is set 5.4 km from Rockefeller Center, 5.5 km from Central Park and 5.5 km from Chrysler Building.... Truly astounding. I was checked-in by Jose who was friendly and welcoming - a lovely disposition for a tired traveller who already experienced the shady side of NYC with a cash grabbing airport taxi driver. When I arrived at the hotel Jose offered me drinks, friendly banter and a room upgrade to his 'fav room'. The room was spotless and had an amazing view of the NYC skyline and a dedicated workspace. To top it off, the bed is hella comfortable! All in all, I'm impressed with value for money, staff engagement, room comfort and the little perks that make a client feel valued.

Feather Factory Hotel ligger i Long Island City. Alle rommene på Feather Factory har kabel-TV og eget bad med badekar eller dusj. Friendly staff, excellent location (I totally disagree with other comments claiming that the walk to the subway is long - it isn't, and it's a nice walk; plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and numerous transport links. We especially enjoyed taking the Q32 bus directly across the bridge to Central Park - very safe, never crowded, and a great way to interact with the locals! To reach the Q32 bus, walk to the right when exiting the hotel, go up the road, then turn right, walk straight two blocks, catch the bus by the gas station - super easy and fun.

Located 6.8 km from LaGuardia Airport, this Vista LIC Hotel, Premier Collection by Best Western features an on-site restaurant and rooftop bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Everything was amazing! The staff was very kind and helpful, they helped us solve every problem. The room was nice and warm and the beds very comfortable. As regards the hotel location, it is very accesible. we had the train stations a few blocks away so we had easy access to manhattan.

The hotel was very clean and I always saw someone cleaning. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was also great! Our favorite part was the hot cocoa bar
