Located near Fisherman’s Wharf, it has easy access to shopping, dining, and whale watching. The Portola Hotel & Spa is 1.6 km from the historic Cannery Row. We like the room the moment we step in, the room is cosy and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and location is good.

This hotel offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi and a cable TV. Fisherman’s Wharf is within easy walking distance from Merritt House Hotel. We booked this last minute on Booking.com and I was worried it was a B&B but it was a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the town. The breakfast was healthy and fun served on colourful Fiesta Ware. The room was immaculate, spacious and charming. The staff was helpful during our stay and then went above and beyond by shipping items back to me that I left in drawer. I cannot praise Merritt House enough!

Monterey Marriott features an on-site restaurant and an outdoor pool. Located off Highway 1, it is a 5-minute drive away from Monterey Bay Aquarium. Room was big, very clean and comfortable, great location.

Loved it so much booked a 3rd night once there. - Stayed in a fireplace king room (102) and had direct access to the garden where we used the lounges, fire pits and pool on multiple occasions. - Pool and hot tub was clean and warm, perfect for the evening when the little one was sleeping as it was open til 10pm. Our baby monitor had no problem reaching and it was close enough to the room we felt safe to do so. What an indulgence. - Stayed over a weekend in spring break but found it to be super relaxed and quiet with no noise issues at all (though we do travel with white noise for the toddler just in case). - Room was large, house keeping wonderful, shower had good pressure. Hairdryer is one that's stuck to the wall, but my hair isn't long so wasn't an issue. Lovely to get Dove toiletries. I don't believe they offer cots, but we cosleep with our 2yo when travelling so just put pillows next to her when we were at the pool at night. There was plenty of space in the room if you travel with a portable cot though. - Right across from the paddle boats, beach and large park (Dennis the menace) which was perfect for our toddler. Short drive to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. 15min from Carmel too. - We drove to the aquarium and found the street parking easy and cheap (using an app) and paid $5 for an afternoon (instead of $20 in the lot on Foam St), but good that there's options if you want to spend the whole day. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Pacific is a boutique hotel located in the centre of Monterey just steps away from the Monterey Conference Center. Breakfast was great! Noisy do to a busy street. We enjoyed are stay and will book again!

Located in Old Town Monterey just 2.4 km from Cannery Row, The Monterey Hotel features valet parking. Free WiFi is included for all guests. An old hotel located downtown which was good for us as we planned to attend a concert at the Golden State Theatre just across the street.
