Situated directly on the beach, the Spindrift Inn offers elegant accommodations in the heart of Monterey. A really unique Inn, with beautiful rooms and awesome location. Very unique and special place.

Located on the coast of Monterey Bay, Monterey Bay Inn features a rooftop whirlpool and direct access to San Carlos Beach. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. This Inn surprised me. The team were the most helpful and friendly of all the hotels we stayed at while touring California. The room was very comfortable and the bed a dream to sleep in. The breakfast in your room is a very nice touch.

Offering stunning views of Monterey Bay, a full-service spa and a private beach, the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa is located only steps from Cannery Row and 10 minutes' walk from the Monterey Bay... Great location. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Short walk to Shops and restaurants.

I went to Monterey Bay specifically to earn my Scuba certification. This Inn was only 4 minute drive from the meetup location with my dive school and 2 minute drive from an amazing coffee shop (Tidal Coffee). Everything was technically walking distance, but heavy gear I had to drive. The Inn had covered parking with security, coming from San Francisco I felt VERY comfortable with the parking that was included (an additional $19 per night for parking). The place was very cozy, I loved the high ceilings and the fireplace in the room. We had a balcony, we didn't use it but it was nice to have. My partner is very allergic to fragrances, the Inn included bathroom products that are all natural made using essential oils for fragrance (so this was a huge plus for us). Dog-friendly location with dog biscuits at the front desk. Wine and Cheese hour 5-6pm was a nice way to wine down after an tiring day out on the water.

I liked the layout of building, room had good light, space, clean and very comfy bed. Good shower, again spacious. Parking on site was helpful. Appreciated the fire pits in the evening to sit outside. Good location. Honestly just really liked this hotel, good ambience.

The location was perfect, near the aquarium, downtown and the beach. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. It was quiet. The bathroom was perfect for our family with a nice bathtub and hot water. The "fireplace" heater was nice and cozy. The coffee machine was clean and worked fine. There was even a little patio in the common area outside with couches where you could spend time with friends. I was really impressed by this hotel quality and would happily return.
