Conveniently located in the centre of Charleston, The Iris offers 5-star accommodation close to Harmon Field and Charleston Museum. We travel often and stay in a variety of places including hotels, B&Bs, condos, air B&Bs. The Iris was kind of a happy mix of all of them and when we return to Charleston, we will stay here again.

This 1920s-inspired boutique Spectator Hotel in Charleston is less than 4 minutes’ walk from the historic Charleston City Market and Port of Charleston. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was fantastic. Decor and design awesome. All staff (from cleaning to butler to valet driver) were exceptional. Rooms and mini fridge offerings were such a welcomed treat. Turn down service and evening hotel ambiance was swoon worthy. This was the perfect upleveled home away from home experience in such a vibrant city. We can't wait to return and share our recommendation of this hotel with our traveling friends and family. Bravo Spectator!!

This 4-star Downtown Charleston hotel is 3 minutes' walk of Charleston City Market and Waterfront Park. The hotel offers a rooftop pool with mosaic bottom, free WiFi, as well as 2 on-site restaurants.... This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful and clean. We asked to have our two rooms close to each other - and at check-in we were asked if we wanted rooms on the same floor next to each other, or two rooms on separate floors with better views. We went with rooms with better views and this did not disappoint! Our teenage kids got a room with french door/windows overlooking the charleston market. Our room was just above - it did not have the french door/windows but the views were good too. The roof top pool and restaurant was great too! The Valet parking was convenient and we were not charged extra for it (though we did tip the driver of course). The hotel wasn't cheap, but I chose it initially because it was less expensive than many other boutique hotels in the area. This hotel felt very fancy and was in the perfect location. I think it was well worth the price and was great value considering all of the facilities and quality of the rooms included.

The room was beautiful & larger than expected. The bathroom, though beautiful, needs some shelving to accommodate toiletries. The bedding was extremely comfortable! The independent temperature control is always a huge plus! Location was perfect & we enjoyed walking everywhere! The food was amazing! Our cocktails were perfect & the bartender was friendly & gracious! The rooftop gave us beautiful views of Charleston while sipping an amazing Bloody Mary!

Overlooking Charleston City Market on Market Street, this historic French Quarter Inn welcomes guests with champagne at check-in and serves a free daily gourmet continental breakfast. Loved everything about the hotel. The location was perfect, the staff were very friendly and were always available to help, and the wine and cheese was an excellent idea. It was all very charming and relaxing. Look forward to staying there again and will definitely recommend it to my friends
