It was a very nice and comfortable stay. The staff at the lobby reception area and on the 2nd floor restaurant are helpful and friendly. The hotel is located between two metro stations and within 10 minutes' walk. Zhongshan district is a vibrant shopping and dining area. There are convenience stores and a McDonald's restaurant near the hotel.

I have stayed in quite a number of hotels, including 5-star hotels (I have lifetime elite status in a specific chain). The Evergreen Laurel hotel is easily the best among all the hotels I have stayed in. Every hotel I stayed in previously always have something that is not ideal but not this hotel. The beds are comfortable, room is brightly lit (which is a big plus and super rare), a lot of good amenities are provided in the room (increasingly rare in post-covid world), shower water pressure is good, the water temperature is easy to set and remains consistent and the sound-proofing is good - I did not hear any noise from my neighbors (the hotel is full). The location is fantastic as well - I stayed a total of 5 nights and every location I plan to go to is easily reached from the hotel, either by bus or metro. There are two metro stations nearby - Songjiang Nanjing on the green line and Zhongxiao Fuxing on the blue line. Both are within walking distance though the latter is slightly further. There are multiple convenience stores nearby, as well as a Watsons and a Carrefour supermarket. The famous Leechi is right next door. The housekeeping standard is impeccable as well. Oh ya there are also coin-operated washing and drying machines in the hotel. I will definitely be back again when I return to Taipei!

Rd. It is also a 15-minute walk to Xingtian Temple. The street behind the hotel is Shuangcheng Night Market, and there are many restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores in the area. Although the hotel faces Lin Sen Bei Lu, a relatively busy road, the soundproofed windows in the rooms do not cause any noise. The rooms are clean and modern, and the bed area and living area are separated upstairs and downstairs, so it is easy to live in and very relaxing. Anyway, it is clean and spacious. The price is not cheap, but considering the location, the size of the rooms, and the facilities such as a mini-kitchen and a large refrigerator, excellent cost-effective. You can live here for a long stay without any stress at all.

It really is that convenient!
