Located in Taipei, 2.5 km from The Red House, Shanger Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It is really safe and you have to use the room card in order to get access to the lift. Karaoke bar in basement was top and for european people funny and nice in the same time marking of escape exits (emergency slings) or hydrant with elephant.

The hotel has a warm feeling, room is clean. Despite being hard to find as I had to enter a complex building and take an elevator to reach to hotel, the location is convenient as it is close to convenient stores, restaurant and night market.

We were allowed an early check in as they had a room available at that point in time 2. Housekeeping was very diligent, kept things neat and tidy while we were gone everyday 3. Laundry usage and Dryer use were very convenient (You can get washing powder from the reception below for 10 TWD or bring along your own to use) 4. Shaving kit, toothbrush and toothpaste were part of personal toiletries set 5. There was a water dispenser in the common corridor on my room's floor which made it very convenient to get hot water on demand 6. The staff were all really kind and their service was very good!

Well situated in the Sanchong District district of Taipei, 1954 Guest House is situated 3.7 km from Taipei Confucius Temple, 3.8 km from The Red House and 3.8 km from Taipei Zhongshan Hall. The breakfast and library were good. The bathrooms were wonderful. The room, bed with curtains Nd space around the bed with the towels and cupboard were great. Very kind staff and wonderful entrance area.
