Majerca is a beautiful boutique hotel that really felt like a classy secret hideaway. Things to love about it include the stunning location, beautifully designed space, incredible restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk along a quiet forest road from the nearest bus stop. It has a huge green garden adjoining the terrace/restaurant and the most gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. This is a small hotel with just a handful of staff, but they are really nice people, particularly the guys running the restaurant. Speaking of which - dinner here is a must (there are not many options in the area anyway). The food is maybe the best I ever had in a hotel restaurant - the nduja pork belly is stunningly tasty. I think the menu rotates, but you can't go wrong. Vegetarian options are strong too, and the breakfast was also a wonderful way to kick off the day (again, very friendly service and superb coffee). The rooms are huge and the beds unbelievably comfortable. Our en-suite had a bath (!) which was a fabulous touch. The hotel has mountain bikes you can borrow for free to go for a ride around the lake or up into the hills. Other hotels would charge for this - it speaks a lot to Majerca's excellence that it was available at no cost. I'd stay there again without question and will tell my friends and family to pass by too.

More beautiful in person than in pictures. We especially loved the outside area and spent loads of time relaxing in the afternoon sun, taking in the view. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Owner was responsive and helpful. We stayed 4 nights to hike in the area and were very glad to have chosen this place.

Super helpful houselady, helped me figure out what I wanna see. Nothing special in the room, the bed was surprisingly comfortable - perfect if you're there to trekk as much as possible.

The room was spacious and clean! Great location within walking distance for restaurants, bars and of course the lake. Cozy. The host was very hospitable. Value for money.
