The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally located a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. The lobby of the hotel was well appointed with great light and amazing view. Conveniently located with good parking. The beds were super comfortable and the size of the room was perfect. Breakfast buffet was very generous and they even included customized eggs. The hotel personnel were all nice and helpful

Super friendly and helpful staff, lots of attention to detail, spacious room with very comfortable bed, awesome location with amazing views, and great restaurants, namely Il Gallo d'Oro and Avista.

Featuring a bar, Vila Vicência is located in Funchal in the Madeira region, a 7-minute walk from Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 1.8 miles from Formosa Beach. I liked territory of the villa, it’s really cozy. And my room was wonderful, overlooking the ocean and pool.

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a garden in Funchal. Excellent experience. The quality and comfort of the room really exceeded our (high) expectations. Modern and up to date, yet with a very nice touch. Outstanding open views. Excellent restaurants. We very much enjoyed the infinity pool and played some tennis on a well maintained court. Drinks outside with amazing views, close to the cliffs.

Set on a cliff in 10 acres of subtropical gardens overlooking the Atlantic, this 5-star resort features an oceanfront spa, 3 swimming pools and direct access to oceanic waters. I just wanted to say how simply amazing I think this hotel is. Simply the top of the line.As I sit here writing this I tear up. EVERYONE from the front desk, to the bell hop to the people who brought me my breakfast, the gentlemen in the restaurant and especially Elia Silva, who loved her job so much she sang while she was making my bed. And last but but far not least, I was so homesick I want to go back home so badly and the manager let me cancel my third night. I’m still amazed, simply amazed at this sublime hotel. and jeez wiz I didn’t even mention how beautiful and well appointed the Palace was. I just hope you know that there are people out there who so appreciates what you do for people. This is from the bottom of my heart
