This is the second time I’ve stayed here, the last time being about 6 years ago. The accommodation is cleaned to a high standard, the fixtures and furnishings are also of a high standard, very modern. Comfort was not compromised.

Bluestone on George is a stylish property situated in the city centre of Dunedin, offering great views over the city to the surrounding hills and Otago Peninsula. Neville and Sandra have built one of the nicest small hotels I’ve experienced. I travel in many countries and wish every hotel was as comfortable, clean, friendly, and welcoming as Bluestone on George. The property is just blocks from the center of town but as it is off the main road, it’s very quiet. The rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with quality linens and plush beds. Our suite had a washer/dryer in unit, full kitchenette, beautiful jet spa tub, and king bed. Their hospitality is the crown jewel of the property and you are warmly welcomed from the moment you enter. It is truly a lovely experience.

Aurora on George, formerly Cargill's Hotel, has been completely refurbished and offers a stylish 4 star rated motel, situated around a beautiful centre piece garden. Free on-site parking is available.... Immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend

Just 2 km from the Taieri Gorge Historic Railway, Cable Court Motel offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony. Guests have access to laundry facilities and free parking. Were upgraded so had a lovely suite. Facilities - eg laundry - good. Great situation in uni area. Easy to walk into town or in opp direction to Botanic gardens. Shop 10 mins walk away. Staff very nice.
