What a small diamond in the middle of Amsterdam. Lets just say it is the opposite of large modern style hotel complexes. First a bit hard to find as the entrance is through a ”bar”. And then, up the small, steep and winding stairs to first floor with all of two rooms… The room was super cpmfortable and very nicely decorated. Felt like a real room, not a hotel. This hotel is located in a historic building just 300 metres from Amsterdam Central Station. Hotel Old Quarter offers free Wi-Fi in the restaurant area and a 24-hour front desk. Great location! For those coming to Amsterdam via train, this location could not be beat. It was a five minute walk from the station, and we were able to walk everywhere we went the rest of our stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning, and the view of the canal was amazing as well. The rooms and building were also very clean.
