It is an easy 15 minute walk away from the National Folk Museum and Gyeongbokgung Palace. The Gyeongbokgung palace offers free scheduled tours in multiple languages and is a must see! The room itself was spacious and well cleaned with a nice bathroom. We quite enjoyed having coffee on the balcony each morning. The shower was very nice, with both a moveable head and rainfall options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Both the staff and area were quite language friendly for people that only speak english.

So if you have time, do it. I could practice my Korean as well but the host has a great app for quick and easy translations.

Really nice hanok in the perfect location to explore the area. The area is very busy with tourists and locals, but when you are inside, you don't hear anything and you can enjoy your time there. Everything was as expected [clean, comfortable, etc.] Loved the foot bathtub.
