El APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Eki Tower está situado en el distrito de Toshima de Tokio, a 2 minutos a pie del parque Otsukadai. Es el segundo hotel de la cadena APA en el que me hospedo y definitivamente serían mi primera opción en Japón. Se encuentra cerca de la linea de metro Yamanote que conecta con atracciones principales, cerca hay 7eleven, lawson y un starbucks, ademas de otros restaurantes. La habitación si es pequeña, pero con el espacio suficiente, la habitación tiene un mini refrigerador. En el hotel hay lavadoras, secadoras y spa. El personal del hotel es muy amable.

El Hotel Wing International Select Ikebukuro ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y TV de pantalla plana vía satélite en el distrito Toshima de Tokio. A quiet location but still close to Sunshine City and the train station. Rooms were a good size and very comfortable for a family of three. The staff were very helpful.

Conveniently located a 4-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station east exit, Keio Presso Inn Ikebukuro features compact rooms with free WiFi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provided lots of useful information and helped me with my luggage. Excellent service!

El Super Hotel Inn Ikebukuro-Eki Kitaguchi está a 5 minutos de la estación de JR Ikebukuro y ofrece habitaciones acogedoras y un desayuno típico japonés gratuito. The staff were very helpful. It was my first onsen experience in Japan, so I didn't know what to expect. I asked the staff at the reception counter for advice, and they very gladly gave me an introduction to onsen etiquette. The staff I asked was actually male and wasn't familiar with the female bathhouse, but he made sure to check with his colleagues before giving me the information, which was very kind of him. The onsen was quiet when I got in, not many people were using it. There's only 1 pool available, but it's more than enough for a good soak after a long day. I would recommend bringing your own makeup cleanser as the one provided may not be powerful enough for a deep cleanse if you wear thick makeup. The hotel provides a choice of amenities at the reception desk, and even a drinks bar during nighttime! It was definitely one of the most welcoming hotels I've been to!

Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro is within a 4-minute walk from Ikebukuro Metro Station and Ikebukuro Railway Station. It offers modern and comfortable rooms with a washing machine/clothes dryer and a microwave. The location is great close to the train station (around 5 minutes' walk). If you have the heavy luggage, you need to go for exit C6 as there will be an elevator for you. Staff is friendly. The room has a good size, good facilities provided (there is also a washing machine inside the room). Really comfortable for the staying than 1-day. The price is value for money.
