Boasting a 15th-floor Italian restaurant, massage services and a spa, Hotel Associa is right next to JR Shizuoka Train Station. Rooms offer free wired internet, video-on-demand movies and a minibar. Excellent location, great cleanliness and service staff

You can tell immediately that it is a brand-new hotel. It has a public bath available if you fancy that. On the same floor, a resting area with recliners is located, where you can spend some time relaxing after the bath waiting for your partner. Minor detail: the room key has a wooden design, which is a fantastic touch to the overall nature theme of the hotel. The breakfast hall is vast and is open outside the breakfast hours (breakfast contains local dishes, and I highly recommend trying it). There, you can enjoy a working space + free coffee and tea. We also got some discounts for restaurants around the hotel, and we used this option for dinner. The street the hotel is located on is very picturesque, and we also enjoyed strolls in the neighborhood. The castle is within walking distance, as well as some shrines.

Located a 5-minute walk from JR Shizuoka Station, and within a minute's walk from Shin-Shizuoka Station and Shin-Shizuoka Bus Terminal, Hotel Citio Shizuoka offers rooms with free WiFi access in the... The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable! The amenities were fantastic with great quality. The room was furnished with a big screen LED TV, very good for watching movies. The bathroom were fabulous and exceeded my expectation. Wi-Fi strength and speed was great. Hotel location is right in front of Shin-Shizuoka station and really near to the Aoba symbol shopping district. (<5 minutes walk)

Unfortunately my room had no view, it was just the wall of the building next door. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and its a slightly better room than what I expected (felt more premium).
