I’m so lucky to have been able to live in such a nice and cozy house in Kyoto, it felt like a second home. Surrounded by beautiful nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I was fully relaxed here.

Meals are very traditional yet delicious and up to our liking. We were treated with a chicken mushroom hotpot (nabe) for dinner which was a perfect hot meal for a cold night. We arrived at the place at 20.10 quite behind plan plus check-in procedure and luggage drop which is very much late past their dinner time (18.00-20.30) for which I'm very sorry about but the host was very nice about it. I happen to have the outdoor onsen all to myself as I used it near the closing time which was one of my best experiences about the whole trip.
