Perfectly located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a 7mins walk to Kyoto Kyocera Museum. Staffs are energetic, friendly and always eager to help. Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness centre, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. The Manager gave excellent personal attention. The team were delightful and helpful

Tadashi-san and Yuki-san were without question the best hosts we've had in a while. Their care and help were outstanding and the house itself was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt at home for our nine nights, I will definitely be back if I have the chance!

Yet, what truly set this stay apart was the genuine warmth and kindness of Tadashi and Yuki, the hosts. Their joyful welcome, attentiveness to my every need, and daily surprises with delightful treats created a memorable experience. They even arranged to dry my soaked sneakers overnight, an unexpected gesture of kindness. If you're seeking a relaxed and convenient place to stay in Kyoto, you've just discovered it. The location is very close to Keihan Sanjo Station. I traveled from Osaka and was able to access it directly from Yodoyabashi Station without any train transfers. The room is larger than a hotel and has kitchen facilities, so I was able to cook during my stay, saving on accommodation costs. The staff are friendly, and both the staff and facilities are clearly superior to those of a typical Japanese hotel.
