Well situated in Kyoto, ASAI Kyoto Shijo offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Staff are extremely friendly. Assist me to keep my luggage before the check in time. Room was cleaned everyday. Shower is excellent. Bed is soft and comfy.

Attractively situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Shirakawa is situated 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station, 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and 1.2 km from Shoren-in... Excellent location right in the center of Gion. Room was lovely and spacious and beds were very comfortable. The receptionists were lovely and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

In a prime location in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located 1.2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 1.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo... We loved our stay here! The hotel is located close to several temples (Kiyomizu-Dera) and has great access to many bus lines. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed. There was a lot of space in the room unlike other hotels in Japan. Friendly staff, clean rooms and cute cafe in the entrance. I would definitely stay here again.

Situated conveniently in the centre of Kyoto, Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi offers buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. I really liked everything about this hotel. The location is great, the facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

Ideally set in Kawaramachi, 2 km from Yasaka Shrine, Hotel Musse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Meitetsu is situated 700 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.1 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum and 1.3... Perfect location, walking distance to metro station, a lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Room size was good. Breakfast was nice.

Boasting a garden, a restaurant as well as a bar, GOOD NATURE HOTEL KYOTO is situated in the centre of Kyoto, 400 metres from Gion Shijo Station. Property was super awesome. Myself and my partner were greeted by friendly staff that helped us check in. We had arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there while we went out exploring, when we returned to check in finally they had already taken our bags to our room which was super nice. The rooms were beautiful with plenty of space . Love the organic modern feel the rooms have and the modern touch of the table to control the lights, ac etc. The hotel is super close to everything you need shops transport etc. Definitely recommend.

Ideally set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Miru Kyoto Gion is located 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station, 1.2 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.9 km from Heian Shrine. It was lovely to have high quality croissants and coffee for breakfast. Maybe some fruit would have been a nice additional touch? We loved the personal contact with the staff. On tablet with information was great and it had useful restaurant information however if we asked reception for restaurant recommendations all they did was point us to the ones on the "app" and ask us to choose one. They should participate in some family in local establishments so that they can make good recommendations. All the staff were friendly and warm and most have excellent to good English. We particularly appreciated that use of the laundry was complimentary. Our room size was fabulous but we did have the largest room available. For a lengthy stay this made things really comfortable.

Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Amazing location, cute view, very quiet. LOTS of restaurants nearby. Very clean room, and modern looking. I absolutely loved the bathroom which featured both a shower and a bath. Very cool for our 2 year old. Breakfast was delicious and featured a mix of Japanese and western style food. Staff was amazing and very helpful and spoke excellent English. One of the most pleasant hotels I’ve ever been too! Would come again !!
