Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, MUNI KYOTO by Onko Chishin provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a garden and a terrace. From the facilities & the view (mountain view room, coupled with sakura season & great weather) to the breakfast selection and overall location (right next to Arashiyama's Katsura river), I would 100% recommend booking a stay at Muni. Did a daytrip from Tokyo but would return for a longer stay.

The food was amazing, as are the private baths that guests have access to. Using them was hassle-free and the place was well-maintained even with a rustic feel. Very foreigner-friendly.

Located in Kyoto and with Arashiama Bamboo Grove reachable within 1.3 km, Yado Arashiyama provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Everything. The room is so nice modern and chic. Location is by the bridge. Staff is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is healthy and delicious. I stayed 3 nights for the breakfast. Chef tried to change to different menu for me. The bus stop is just 2 min walk.

Attractively set in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Riverside Arashiyama is situated 1.4 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 3.5 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 4.7 km from Katsura Imperial... We enjoyed the location - 20 minute train ride from centre of Kyoto, walking distance to the Bamboo Forest and surrounds. We best liked that we had the town to ourselves before and after day-trippers.

Amazing place, first of all -the location ,just 5 mins walk to the river and 10 mins to the bamboo.I would recommend to take a bus of you are coming from Kyoto station,it is just 3 mins walk from the hotel. it was super clean and the bed was amazing comfy,I need the same blanket home now!they give you kimono so u can feel the vibe !it was unexpected and super nice ,love it!

Situated right along the gentle streams of Katsura River and boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto offers the perfect getaway for travellers seeking peace and... A quiet and beautiful respite from the city. The garden and river views are lovely and the free champagne at the waterfront cafe after a long day of walking was greatly appreciated. The staff were welcoming and helpful every step of the way.
