The moment we walked in, we were treated very well- serving tea for check in! Housekeeping was exquisite. Our room had a beautiful view or Arashiyama. Perfectly located to the busy street of the town and close to the train station This whole town was a nice 3-day getaway.

Located in Kyoto and with Arashiama Bamboo Grove reachable within 1.3 km, Yado Arashiyama provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. The property was conveniently located with a beautiful lounge and authentic restaurant. The room was clean and spacious.

Attractively set in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Riverside Arashiyama is situated 1.4 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 3.5 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 4.7 km from Katsura Imperial... We enjoyed the location - 20 minute train ride from centre of Kyoto, walking distance to the Bamboo Forest and surrounds. We best liked that we had the town to ourselves before and after day-trippers.

We love the view of the river from our room and the sound of the river is really soothing. Excellent location as it is off the crowded tourist area, but close enough to visit the Bamboo Forest very early in the morning. Good breakfast.

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. The location was the best right next to the station we came from only walked 150 feet right to my room

Situated right along the gentle streams of Katsura River and boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto offers the perfect getaway for travellers seeking peace and... Peace and quiet. Scenery was amazing. Food was very good.

Limang minuto lang ang layo mula sa JR Saga Arashiyama Station na may libreng shuttle, nag-aalok ang Sun Members Kyoto Saga ng mga Western room, libreng WiFi sa lahat ng guest room at lobby, at... I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
