Located 600 metres from the Testaccio area and a short walk across the Tiber River to the Trastevere area, Hotel Major Aventinus offers rooms with views of the garden or street. Amazing gem in a fantastic quiet neighborhood. The staff were great. The room was warm and cosy and the breakfast was amazing well worth the 7 eur. It is an extremely beautiful old building with lots of green around. Will come back for sure next time we're in Rome.

Hotel Villa San Pio is located on Rome's green Aventine Hill. Made up of 3 separate villas, and quiet gardens. The elegant rooms feature wood floors and decorative walls. Everything was great, we will come again
