Hotel di Materdei, Naples

La Controra is a former monastery with garden, transformed into a friendly hostel in the centre of Naples. Rooms have air conditioning. The hostel is great. It’s almost like a small school/club. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The property was modern, exceptionally clean and tidy. The mattress was super comfortable and the bedsheets smelled divine! It felt like sleeping in my own home. Vincenzo and Giuseppe, the owners/managers were kind, attentive, available and of course professional. It’s hard to find a place like this nowadays! Thank you guys for the welcoming stay and for contributing to the success of our holiday in Naples. Gravina8 was the cherry on top of the cake. We will and must come back again! To anyone who’s not sure about where to stay in Naples, I can guarantee you, this is a great place in a quirky area. It’s also very close to Materdei underground station with easy access to all the tourist attractions that Naples has to offer. See you soon and thank you once again. He gave us helpful tips and made our stay in Naples easier. The rooms are very spacious and there was enough space. Everything has been very clean! Thank you for everything.

The apartament is quiet and the host was really nice. In the last day he let us stay 2 more hours after the check out, cause it was raining and we wanted to go directly to the airport. It`s an apartament with 3 rooms with private bathroom each. We weren`t bothered by the other persons staying there. It was clean and central. We went by foot to the city center. I reccoment going there. Excelent for a city break

Set 950 metres from Catacombs of Saint Gaudioso and 90 metres from Materdei Metro Station, Casa Roger offers accommodation with a garden, and a shared lounge with microwave, toaster and coffee/tea... super attentive hosts who went out of their way to cater to our breakfast needs. They asked what we wanted for breakfast and when they learned that my husband preferred savory to sweet their procured savory pastries (instead of the usual Italian sweets) for him. The room was the most beautiful and modern style of all Italian B&Bs we've stayed in on this trip. The neighborhood was away from the hustle and bustle of Napoli Centro and yet we could easily walk there. Wish we had more than 1 night.

Located in Naples, Dea Suite is a few steps from the Materdei Metro stop. It offers free WiFi and a garden. An Italian breakfast is available every morning. good location and the ladies were very nice and helpful

The B&B Colori e Note is located in the district of the historic center of Naples, called "Materdei", a district of the oldest and most characteristic Naples, halfway between the lower and historic... Well, we said to go to Naples and chose Colori e note..it couldn't have gone any better..Our comfortable room in a lovely Mediterranean blue, with classic Naples shutters, was in a quiet neighborhood, right next to the Materdei metro station, from where you connect to the whole city. Breakfast with variety of sweets ( this white fluffy cake with chocolate drops became my favorite ) juices, coffee, yogurt, cereals and above all chatting, informations and tips from a wonderful host. Let's talk about Gianni..With a unique style and unique Mediterranean temperement he conveyed to us his positive energy and made us realize how much we have in common with the Italians. Gianni is a hospitable warm person, youthful, with modern ideas and open-minded and definitely another reason we liked this amazing city..Gianni, we love you :-)

The location couldn't be better: in a quiet area, just a few steps away from the metro station so it was very easy to get to the center, as well as to have a good rest during the night. Adriano was very attentive and friendly host. He was there every morning, making coffee, organising breakfast and cleaning the rooms, making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very spacious, with the new furniture and the air conditioning which was great as it was cold and rainy outside. All together; excellent value for the price..
