Breakfast is way above most that you ever had in a hotel. Second time we booked we received welcoming cookies as well. The bar - restaurant on top is also quite nice (we enjoyed having a beer under an olive tree at floor 8). City center is about 20 minutes walk and sea side even closer.

The room was comfortable and very clean, down to the blankets and towels left in bags after they were cleaned . Yes, the elevator is small but we've experienced similar ones in other hotels . The breakfast had lots of choices and was served with a smile . The front desk helped us in English with information on catching the bus out of town.

Hotel Rex är ett familjedrivet hotell i Thessalonikis centrum, nära järnvägsstationen och terminalen för intercitybussarna. Här erbjuds rum som öppnar sig mot en balkong. Very comfortable and clean rooms in the vicinity of central railway and one of two major bus stations in the city. Even though I didn't reserve the room with seaside view, I've got one on the top floor that included beautiful glance at the sea. Staff was very attentive and I was able to pick up garments I forgot in the hotel.

It was spacious, clean and with nice style. I found parking very easy when I arrived at the afternoon. Ι do not know if it is the same easy in he morning. The apartment building seemed safe and gentrified.
