We were in a very small room with cosy bunk beds but there are more spacious rooms to choose from with regular beds to take note of. We didn't need any more space so it was perfect just to spend the night. The place is great and the reception is colorful with a nice lounging area and bar.

It's a really good hotel with all the services and commodities you might need. Staff is extremely helpful and educated, beds and pillows are super comfortable and breakfast was complete, with a nice variety and quality. Reception let me park my motorcycle for free, which was really nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Renovated in 2021, Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Montpellier, just a 3-minute walk from the Montpellier Train Station and Place de la Comedie. The property was clean and offered the right amount of services. The amenities were just right, and the complimentary breakfast was nice. Concierge services were nice as well.

Breakfast was very good and in large, rather elegant room with well spaced tables. We also enjoyed sitting in the very pretty garden area in late afternoon.
