The bed and the sofa bed were both very comfortable. The location was very convenient with easy walking access to municipal electric bicycles, shops, bakery, train station, the old port and a host of boutique cafes, restaurants and shops. There was lots of hot water, and no shortage of any bathroom necessities. Communication with the host was excellent, whom I found to be extremely helpful and organised. In particular, I appreciated the detailed information folder which was sent to us as PDF in advance, and also in printed form in the apartment. All in all, a great stay

Sous le Clocher is a self-catering accommodation set in an old convent located in Marseille. The property is 500 metres from Vieux Port Metro station. Free WiFi access is available. We loved the appointments in this flat. Michele, the owner certainly has a flair for interior design . The juxtaposition of old and new sits so well together . I coveted many of her antique finds .Although in the centre of Marseilles it was so quiet at night we slept really well .Michele was very helpful and accommodating |Would highly recommend this apartment .

B&B Vieux Port Panier Jardin is set in a historical building, located in an ex convent, in the oldest district of Marseille. This air-conditioned property features a garden and a terrace. Amazing! Unique atmosphere: the garden, the room, the building it is in, the owner. Highly recommended for those who don’t like modern and sterile hotel rooms either.

He even sent us a list of restaurant recommendations during our stay!

We liked the location of the property. It’s walking distance to the Old Port, Le Panier, and the metro (subway) station. Excellent having air conditioning especially in high 20s temperatures. We liked the open concept, windows, separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, washer available, etc.
