The Hotel Hernán Cortés was inaugurated in 1958, in an impressive building located near Paseo de Begoña, one of the nerve centers of city life. The room was very clean, large, elegant, with quality toiletries. The hotel was central, near everything.

The hotel was like a museum, they have good quality furniture, the room was super spacious, and the receptions were nice, with manners. The location of the hotel was near the centre, a few steps away. The views from our room were incredible and we had a terrace where we could see one of the main streets. I would really recommend this place.

Located in Gijón centre, the charming Hotel Central is 600 meters from the both San Lorenzo and Poniente Beaches. The location is perfect, just across from the bus station and really centrally located! I arrived after reception closed and they sent me WhatsApp messages with all the information to enter the building and find my key. The place is really homey and incredibly cozy and comfortable. I had a small room with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom. It was right at the top of the entryway stairs and right next to the breakfast area so I was worried that I would hear people in the morning, but not a sound came through my front door and the bedroom door that I closed! The place was really clean and chic, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the value of the hotel since the price was great! I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!
