Hotel Schiff am See is set in Konstanz, directly at Konstanz-Meersburg Harbour, making it an ideal base for exploring Lake Constance. Stunning room, very spacious with a lovely traditional feel. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was spectacular. The breakfast offered a large range of options and was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Special arrangements were put in place to accommodate our late arrival.

Set in Konstanz, 3.5 km from Konstanz Central Station, Hotel/Restaurant Nicolai Torkel offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Very friendly staff. Made sure that we switched to the wifi to prevent any additional costs and even gave us bus passes for free. Parking was next to the hotel and free, which is a rare thing apparently. We could even use the parking spot the next day when we went to the sea again. The food offered in the hotel restaurant was delicious. The location next to the Boden See was just amazing, just 5 mins walk.

Located in Konstanz, 4 km from Konstanz Central Station, Gasthof zur Traube provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Located around 39 km from Olma Messen St. I wasn't aware that the rooms were over a biergarten and restaurant but it did not impact our stay in the least. The breakfast in the morning was typical European (fresh rolls and croissants, meats and cheeses, fruits, vegetables, yogurt and cereals). On the second day the innkeeper kindly came to our room to check on us when she noted that we had not been down yet. Very quiet room, with room darkening shades. A bit of a ways from city center but really close to (free) bus and ferry. Very little English spoken (after all it is Germany) but staff is patient and most accommodating.

Just 200 metres from Lake Constance, this modern guest house features a spa including sauna, an infrared cabin, a spa shower and a relaxation area. Room was good size. Not expensive compared to other hotels in Konstanz.
