Featuring good connections to the city centre of Hamburg, the 5-star Privathotel Lindtner in the Heimfeld district of Hamburg offers individually designed rooms and suites. We obviously got a bargain rate for this hotel as we've tried to re-book for our return trip and it was twice the price! Well worth what we paid - the room was fantastic, with provision for our dog. Very clean, comfy bed, good size bathroom with proper basin area that you can actually put stuff on. The breakfast was *amazing* - anything you could have thought of was there. I even had a cheeky bucks fizz :) One of the few hotels I've stayed in recently that actually still has a mini bar (payable, of course) - a nice touch. Short walk to neighbouring wooded parkland areas. We didn't eat here but the menu looked great (although somewhat expensive).

They have ground floor rooms which was easily accessible. And it was really clean 🤍 The staff were friendly and accommodating as well.

The Deutsches Haus is a great hotel. The location is very good, just outside Hamburg in a quiet village. Very good if you're traveling to Hamburg by car or van, but don't want to get stuck in the city with its parking issues. Safe free parking on the premises. The rooms are a good size, bathroom was a bit small, but functional. Breakfast was good! But best of all: the staff is super friendly! I highly recommend this hotel!

Partially renovated in 2015, Altstadthotel Harburg is set in the Harburg district in Hamburg, 9 km from HafenCity Hamburg. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is available. Cosy, small and clean hotel very close to restaurants and with good connections (bus, S-Bahn). Comfortable beds, fridge in the room, quiet, friendly staff and superb breakfast. Good parking in the courtyard.

Auszeit Hotel Hamburg offers comfortable rooms just 20 km from Hamburg city centre. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the hotel . A nice little hotel. Plenty of outdoor/underground parking space if you travel by car, quiet, tidy room. Access to the hotel/room/underground parking by using the web/app was an unusual experience for me. It is very convenient and modern solution for regular users, but first time users might expect some trial and error moments, plus, information on this method could be provided earlier than the day before arrival, especially if during that day you have limited access to internet (travelling by ferry, for example). But, in the end, everything worked well and all was good. Breakfast OK, beds OK.

Ideally set in the Harburg district of Hamburg, Kleines Hotel Heimfeld is set 13 km from Old Elbe Tunnel, 18 km from Hamburg-Altona Train Station and 19 km from Dialog im Dunkeln. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is very quiet, in a calm location. It is close to the University.
