Ideally situated beside the pedestrian zone and main railway station in Essen, this traditional 4-star hotel is a direct underground ride from the exhibition grounds and the Grugapark complex. We had an apartment "Windsor". The interior of the room with luxury furnished, net, and clean. There's a shower and bathtub in the bathroom. It's definitely one of our favourite places to stay.

Double bed with extra Sofa, so it could be used for 3 people. The bathroom with tub and shower and a heated lighted toilet, wow. Small fridge, hot water kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. Two bottles of excellent wine were available at cost.
