Located a 20-minute underground ride from Düsseldorf's exhibition grounds, this welcoming hotel to the south of Duisburg offers cozy rooms with free WiFi access and free parking. The location was great. The local pizza place (Bella Huckingen) is great value with the best pizza I've ever had. There was also a market and a gas station very close-by. We only had breakfast in the hotel for one day, but it was perfect. The staff was lovely. Extremely polite and down to earth. The room was super clean and surprisingly spacious. There's a parking in front of the hotel and if that's full there's one behind it, easy to find and super close-by. It was also a short drive away from Messe Essen (around 20 minutes), which was perfect for us. The town is also really beautiful to walk about. The buildings have that old European quality to it. It feels like a fairy tale. All in all, I'd stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
