Good communications between Robert and myself via the portal and his accommodation is a smart, stylish apartment on the ground floor of a well-maintained building in a pleasantly genteel suburb of Dresden, about 35-40 minutes walk from the edge of the Altstadt. The kitchen had everything you could think of except for a butter tray and Robert clearly put a lot of thought into the facilities offered including a small selection of playthings for kids, along with some cutlery and crockery just for them. The sofa doubled up to make a decent enough bed, provided you put a couple of quilts on to sleep on, and slept under a third. Bathroom was clean, shower was powerful, the WiFi was quick and very easy to access. We didn't get a chance to use it, but the little outside table in the garden was beautifully framed when considering the autumn conditions and the falling leaves around it. A lovely little touch, we never got around to using it. Bünaustrasse tram stop is only a few minutes away on foot for those wanting to get to the Altstadt quicker and there's an Aldi and a Lidl around 15 minutes away on foot.
