Hotel Marsil is a design hotel situated in the heart of Cologne Old Town, just 1 km from the River Rhine and near the art and shopping areas and the Belgian Quarter with its fine restaurants. Small, warm and cozy room that has just everything you need for your stay(the bed was very comfortable)! We had a balcony with a view to one of the cathedrals nearby. The location of the hotel is just perfect - very close to restaurants, bars and public transport. I really like the fact that the owners of the hotel decided to preserve the old wooden staircase of the building(there is an elevator don't worry). The staff of the hotel is great - very friendly and open, they explained us a lot about the surrounding area and places we can visit.

This centrally located, 4-star hotel is a 15-minute walk from Cologne’s Old Town and Main Train Station. It offers a restaurant, a spa and modern rooms with satellite TV. I came an hour early, full of heavy bags. I was afraid that I might need to leave them in reception instead of in a room but the staff member at the reception helped me and gave me an available room earlier than expected which was very nice and helpful of him! The room was clean and spacious, bed was soft and comfy and bathroom was clean.

Veldig reint og fint, sentralt, utrolig fine rom, elsket at de hadde Rituals til såpe og sjampo i dusj og håndvask. Kjempe god frokost, hyggelig personale i frokosten, både servitører og kokkene var flinke å fylle på mat og passe på.
