Rarely have I been so impressed by a hotel’s service, cleanliness and comfort. The staff was extremely helpful, starting by providing directions and recommendations for where to go based on the time I had available. When I mistakenly thought the sink had a defect and reported it, the staff came up immediately to try and rectify it. He explained to me how the drainage worked. The breakfast spread was also superb, with a daily homemade dish. For the morning I was there, it was an excellent French toast. The home was compact, clean and comfortable. The lighting and shower systems were also intuitive to use. There was also a nice minibar, though I didn’t use it. All in all, I felt that Stern am Rathaus was the highlight of my stay in Cologne!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. the location is good, close enough to the cathedral, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby, there is a shop in the hotel and nearby. The design of the hotel in general and the rooms in particular 10/10. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a rooftop and a gym. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend choosing this hotel!

Offering a spa and wellness centre, the Savoy Hotel is centrally located in Cologne. Free WiFi access is available at the property. Cologne’s famous Dom (cathedral) is just a 5-minute walk away. I enoyed all aspects of the hotel. I also received an upgrade to a deluxe room which was nice. The bathroom facilities were excellent and the breakfast room and spread was outstanding. The front office team & concierge were top notch too.
