About as central a location as you can get. Only place in Brno I'll stay if I come again.

I liked the design of the hotel, the breakfast, the fantastic view from the roof top terrace, and the staff, of course. I think, the museum at this historical monument, wich is a masterpiece of functionalist architecture, is a quite pleasant bonus for the guests.

VV Hotel er staðsett í miðbæ Brno, aðeins 200 metrum frá Vankovka-verslunarmiðstöðinni og aðaljárnbrautarstöð borgarinnar. Very clean everywhere, simple but nice and very comfortable furniture. Good breakfast and free private parking. Polite and helpful host. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the Old city main streets but you have to cross through the rail station. Best quality for the price 😃

Situated beneath Spilberk Castle in Brno, Hotel Pegas houses Moravia's first private brewery with beer brewed right in front of you. The Pegas offers rooms with minibars and free Wi-Fi. Everything: location, room, service, food. I was late because I missed my train and then got lost finding the hotel. The clerk cheerfully stayed about a half hour before her normal time for going off duty so I could check in. Then they moved me to a double room because of street noise in the first one. The breakfast was great, with good choices including hot dishes. Staff kept food dishes and coffee pots full and promptly cleaned up tables. And the restaurant downstairs was tremendous, a wonderful Czech beer hall with excellent food and service even when it was very busy. And of course great beer that they brewed themselves. I ate most of my meals there. Brno has lots of architectural and other attractions yet is not overrun with tourists like Prague.
