From when we arrived until we left. Daniela allowed us an Early check in with no additional cost. Melanie was extra helpful with making reservations for my birthday dinner. She recommended one of the best restaurants and made personal reservations. Honestly this has been one of the best stays in Cartagena. The staff is very helpful, polite and eager to help/please. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. All my instagram pictures have been amazing thanks to their modern chic decor! All of my followers have been asking me which hotel it is I am staying. The facility is cleaned and the staff is amazing. The AC was cold and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast included!

Offering a restaurant, Hotel Kartaxa is located in Cartagena de Indias and features a unique style with the bohemian ambiance of the 30's. Free WiFi access is available. Friendly and helpful staff. An amazing location location - I think it's in the prettiest part of the walled city, though everything (including Getsemani) is within a ten-minute walk, or so. The entire facility is remarkably clean and the flowers are beautiful! Our visit featured an excellent (with a diversity of offerings) breakfast and ridiculously friendly restaurant staff. Honestly, we preferred this breakfast (food and vibe) to our four-star hotel.
