Maybe it's a bit unfair because I got a free upgrade but the room was sensationally big. More like an apartment, incl. washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, etc. It felt very modern, I especially enjoyed the high-end japanese toilet. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, good lighting, nice view over the city. Staff was friendly and spoke English, the breakfast buffet was also very big with plenty of options, from dim sum and fried noodles over croissants, cakes and cereals to Coca Cola and fries. There is a metro exit from the Haizhu station in front of the hotel, which connects very well to the metro system in the city with a direct connection to the GuangzhouNan (South) station. There are convenience shops and restaurants (in the shopping center) nearby.

The hotel is located in walking distance to Beijing Lu as well as other temples and tourist spots. Free coffee and juice and popcorn at the lobby. We brought our kids along since we went to Chimelong during the weekend, and it was such a wonderful surprise when we entered a room and found a tent, books and toys & toiletries for kids. The bathroom even came with a potty for the toilet. The staff were great, very accommodating and kind. TERESA was wonderful, she really helped us with our booking (we were a group of 10), so she did her best to give us rooms in the same building despite the busy season. I would really recommend looking for ger especially if you don’t know any Chinese. KRISTINE was also very accommodating especially with the kids. and FU was also very kind. They helped book Taxis for us too.
