Situated in the centre of Basel's Old Town, on the banks of the Rhine, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s oldest city hotels, where such personalities as Napoleon, Elizabeth II, Pablo... Breakfast was nice but just the usual. Probably not worth €45 a person. Location was perfect right in the heart of the old town, on the river. Make sure to request a room with a view of the river. The hotel is exceptional in every way but expensive. The staff will go out of their way to meet your every request. Enjoy the cigar bar. The bedsheets and duvet cover was extremely soft and comfortable. The mini bar was accessible, free of charge.

Motel One Basel is located in Basel, 100 metres from the Architectural Museum. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and benefit from free WiFi access. Lots of space, good furnishings, great lobby fir a drink. Good breakfast. Great location.

Hotel D je odprt od jeseni 2010. Nahaja se na vhodu v stari del mesta Basel in nudi elegantno opremljene sobe s postajo za iPod. Na voljo je brezplačen brezžični internet. Everything was fresh and modern. Good location. Staff was outstanding - made us dinner reservations and really helped me out when I lost my phone.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Great place, perfect location! Incredible window view (I was in the upper floor), very quite and calm. Just next to the hotel "ZaZa" wonderful vegetarian restaurant adds a great bonus!

Convenient location to tram, restaurants and grocery store. It was great that there was a washing machine available and drying racks. The balcony was great.

The best about the apartment was the location. We found ourselves in the middle of the old town, bustling with life, but no cars. We were woken up to a choir rehearsing outside our window - lovely! The manager on site, Lemlem, is a gem! She was very friendly and really helpful. The manager on the phone, Stephanie, was a little bit inflexible at first but ended up being helpful too.
