The friendly and helpful staff made our stay very comfortable. Yummy breakfast and walking distance to everything you need or a short drive to nearby beaches and restaurants. Recommended.

Very nice host, beautiful and quiet apartment in the center of Barra da Lagoa. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend again 10/10!

The view is SPECTACULAR, and you can even enjoy it while chilling in one of two hammocks. Bento is a sweetheart, and Maya is a firecracker! 😄 The staff was really great and the guests were really fun to chat and go hiking with. I vhose this hostel vecause it was close to a really pretty hike (trilha boa vista) and what I was met with was the most beautiful hostel, in the most amazing neighbourhood. I loved all of it! There are surfers at all times of the day at the praia de Barra da Lagoa, they're mesmerizing to watch :) The only downside is that Floripa can be really cold in october, which I didn't expect but Bento lent me a sweater. Also, there's only a small kitchen with one stovetop, so it might be a little difficult to make food if all the beds are filled, because without having specifically counted, I'd say there's space for at least 14 people in the main room and space for another 6-8 people in the secondary smaller room. But I'm not sure all those beds ever get filled, it's just a thought I had while cooking! Also, all thr basic cooking necessities are provided (oil, salt, sugar, spices), so you don't have to buy them :)

Với khu vườn, tiện nghi BBQ và nhìn rahồ bơi, Pousada Farol da Barra nằm ở Florianópolis, cách Bãi biển Praia Barra da Lagoa 14 phút đi bộ. Ngoài dịch vụ phòng, chỗ nghỉ này còn có sân hiên phơi nắng.... The room was cozy and clean, the pool area was excellent and the hostess absolutely lovely and helpful. The location was great for us - it was quiet but still very close to the beach, supermarket, and restaurants (within 15 minutes of walking).

Loved this apartment. It has a great location with an incredible view on Prainha beach. It feels like a little paradise with nature and flowers around. You can go to several beautiful hikes from the guest house. You also have the beach in Barra da Lagoa that stretches for several kilometers. I didn't have a car so I came with the bus that drops you in Barra da Lagoa, just 150 meters walking distance to the guest house. The cost is 6 reais and there's one every 15-20 minutes. It's very convenient and easy. You can also use it to go to Lagoa da Conceição, which is 15 minutes away and a bigger town. Barra da Lagoa itself is very cute and laid-back but you will still find enough shops and restaurants. The apartment has a small kitchen with an oven which i used a few times. The whole place is clean and comfortable. There is also a TV with Netflix. The host, Clarissa, is very kind and she really cares about the guests. If you have any requests, she will try to accommodate and she will also give you many tips about Florianopolis. I followed many of her advices for hikes and places to eat.
