Media One Hotel offers trendy accommodations in a convenient location, just 1.2 mi from Dubai Marina. Guest facilities include free Wi-Fi access, an outdoor pool and a fully-equipped gym. I booked this hotel due to its proximity to an office building where I needed to work for a few days. Having evaluated several options, Media One came out on top in terms of value. After arriving at the hotel around 2 am, Shahul pleasantly welcomed me at the front desk. He promptly checked me in and gave me an upgraded room with a view of the Palm Jumeirah. The room was like in the photos, more than enough for a single traveler. The room was cleaned daily, with a fresh bottle of water, towels etc. The hotel has a nice gym with 2 treadmills and several weight stations. The pool is nearby, so going for a swim after a workout is easy and refreshing. There are towels for you to use at both locations. You don't need to bring one from your room. Just make sure to bring a water bottle. The 'Garden on 8' restaurant has reasonably priced meals, around EUR 50 for a starter, a main meal, and a pint of beer. The Dubai Marina is less than a 5-minute walk away. Great for an evening stroll. The Dubai Marina Mall is around a 30-minute walk. I would definitely go here again on my next business trip to Dubai Media City.

Located in the heart of Dubai's Media City, the sophisticated Radisson Blu Hotel features luxury amenities including a well-equipped spa and outdoor pool. I got an extra early check in, which was really nice gesture and actually helped me a lot.

One mile from Barasti Beach in Dubai, Avani Plus Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites provides accommodations with access to a sauna and fitness room. This is a new, luxury hotel at an affordable price. Rooms are meticulously clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was roomy and relaxing with lovely soaps, shampoos and lotions. We enjoyed the kitchenette with large fridge. Pool was lukewarm and so inviting so we relaxed there most mornings. Breakfast buffet was huge with an omelet and pancake station plus various international hot items. There’s a small grocery store just across the street for snacks and other items. It’s a location with not much else around but I liked being away from the chaos in the evenings, plus it’s a quick, easy taxi ride to the beach and other activities. The tram is right outside the hotel.
