The dinner and breakfast were great, and the staff were super helpful. We had to adjust the dates of our stay as our travel got delayed, and they helped us arrange this with no issues at all. If you need somewhere comfortable and friendly to stay near the border crossing would 100% recommend :)

a good resting place for crossing the border to Zimbabwe, but I didn't have time to explore the city, It is a good railway station for onward journey by sleeper train JNB. Traveling by train in a separate compartment is very cheap and safe. Throughout the journey, a security team with a car escorts the train up to JNB.From Pretoria, the train to JNB is moving slowly because the railway has stolen cables. It suited me because I wanted to stay longer and sleep on the train. 2 hours from Musina, the train passes through a beautiful mountain range. There is warm food on the train, 220 V charging and comfortable sleeping in a wide bed between the sheets.

The town is still getting used to the new N1 By Pass. A few more construction sites are in progress. Can't wait to see the transition in the next 6 moths. A business hub unfolding in front of our eyes.

Those wanting a break in travel from SA to Zimbabwe or even Botswana would do well to stay over in Musina. The town centre itself isn't exactly tourist friendly, however once you are in your BnB you will feel right at home. December can be mighty hot, we experienced 37c at 19h45 so best watch your fluid intake.

Musina is not a big town it is fairly small and mostly the place is rural.... it has a lot of museums to visit and other adventures to partake on. the drive to and around Musina is packed with a lot of interesting events and things to see along the road.
Go there have a good time with nature and enjoy the diverse cultures and people since the town is near the Border with Zimbabwe so there are a lost of Zimbabwean brothers and sisters to meet and interact with. You can also get to see the crazy fat trees the Boa Boa Trees.
