Dined at various restaurants where the establishments were very clean and the food was good. Driving around Williamsburg is very easy. We also took a drive down to the ferry to Surry Seafood restaurant. This is a great little restaurant right on the water (river). We continued to Smithfield where we enjoyed the museums and many shops, boutiques. Ice cream parlor near the museum had great ice cream.

Overall, Williamsburg was a beautiful city to visit. Definitely coming back! Trash and liter always takes away from the overall appearance of a city, community and country. Rarely saw so much trash while visiting overseas. In America 🇺🇸 way too much.

I loved Williamsburg, but then I love history and architecture, art, shopping and good food. I live in Northern Virginia, and the food is pretty dreadful. Everything I ate in Williamsburg was really good--such a nice change.
I enjoyed shopping in Colonial Williamsburg and in New Town. I had a great time, and I'll be back.

The historic city is like our second home.
The historic city is like our second home. We go there at least twice a year. We no longer through the buildings because we've been in each one multiple times, but love walking around the streets. It would be nice for CW to offer a bus pass separate from the admission ticket for a minimal price, just in case you've seen all the buildings but want to get from the visitor center to the town.

A lot of shops were closed at the market place and the restaurants were also closed or short staffed which made a lot of people mad after talking to them as we walked around Williamsburg. They advertised that the stores were open all year

It' a great place to visit to get a real feel for the 18th century. Re-enactors are professional and convincing. It gives life to a distant age. Instead of seeing just buildings, furnishings and museums, you see how folks lived at high and low levels of society. The authenticity makes for a very memorable experience. You can go time after time and see new activities and items. It never gets boring.
Wonderful, characterful room. Very comfortable, very clean. The bed was great. We loved the peaceful forest view from our room. Joanne and Barbara on the front desk could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. They really enhanced our stay. The breakfast was delicious; fresh and very high quality. This gorgeous hotel is located on a winery and set amongst beautiful trees. It’s a gem. Though we were there for work, we still left much more relaxed than when we arrived. Thank you for a memorable stay.
Courtney and her staff made this a great experience. Seriously friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about Williamsburg. The room was very clean and beds we're comfortable. The hotel is located in the middle of everything; 10 minutes from Busch Gardens and Water Country and 10 minutes from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg shops. The value is unbeatable, especially if you're like us and just really sleeping and getting ready in the rooms. Great trip. We will definitely be back.
This is a newly remodel motel, CLEAN! It grounds are lovely setting, restaurants: Cracker Barrel, Hooters, Golden Corral, Jose Mexican all in walking distant. Very near Colonial Williamsburg, and Bush Gardens theme park (about 5 miles). Rooms are large and CLEAN, The king suite, the bed is comfortable, large bathroom with a tub or shower. But the hospitality of Trey and Mike at check - in makes this a place I will definitely stay when visiting Williamsburg!
The hotel is very clean like new. The service was excellent. The manager was on top of everything. Gave us all the info we needed. We had a problem with the remote of the tv and he came immediately to try to fix it twice. He took action immediately and when it didn't work he called Comcast right away n got fixed.
The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The location is great. It's close to restaurants n to Colonial Williamsburg.
We went to Williamsburg for a family trip with a baby. We got two of the king suite rooms, which were a great choice because it meant we had sitting areas to relax and play games as a family. The beds were comfortable and spacious, and the rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was convenient for getting to the sights around Williamsburg.
I have a small dog, & so I stayed in a room designated for pets. It was very clean & comfortable, something not quite achieved in some other "pet rooms" where I've stayed. Hotel staff members, including the cleaning people, were friendly & helpful. This hotel is an excellent value for people who want to tour historic Williamsburg.
Friendly clean lovely room -great breakfast. 10 mins from Williamsburg colonial village (you drive there and get free bus in - only need to pay for ticket if you want to go in the houses /museums etc if not it’s like a normal town -there’s a new part too that’s normal shops restaurants etc )
Hotel is very clean, rooms are a good size and comfortable. There's a mini fridge and safe and each floor has a microwave for guests to use. Large indoor and outdoor pool and Close to Busch Gardens. Would absolutely be my 1st choice for accommodation next time I'm in Williamsburg.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit better than what I would expect. The hotel is in a great location to reach the key attractions we were looking to enjoy. The room was on par with a typical hotel in this price range as far as size and comfort.
The free included breakfast and rooms were great! We really enjoyed the closeness to Colonial Williamsburg- only a 7ish minute drive from hotel. The hotel was in a central area close to food and shops. We would recommend this hotel!
This hotel is very conveniently located for Colonial Williamsburg which was the purpose of our visit to the city. Restaurants also located close by. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
Location is the main sell here. It's less than 10 mins from colonial Williamsburg. It's a budget hotel so you know what you're getting: standard room with standard beds. But it was clean and quiet.
We loved everything! It was the nicest room for the money. We had a suite & it was large & very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel & will use again if we go back to Williamsburg.
Checkin was smooth, and the room centrally located. The location of the hotel was great as well, and we could have easily walked to the colonial Williamsburg welcome center if wanted.
