Great location outside Tropic close to Bryce Canyon with terrific views. Spotless apartment clearly lovingly looked after by the owners who live on the floor above the apartment. Well provided with all needed to cook with lots of extras provided. And was special to see the house through our binoculars from Bryce Point in the National Park.

Self check-in allowed us the flexibility be detoured when we saw a nice hike or vista! Check in was easy, communication was excellent. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The location is an easy drive to Bryce canyon and because you are in town, there are so many choices for dining! Food nearby was good - we especially liked the pizza place and Rustlers!

Very small town, nothing much here at all - the big draw is Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, which is a short drive away. We were only here three days to visit the park, so it wasn't that bad. The price of the room was the big draw; we could have stayed closer to the park but at twice the price. The idea of our own cabin was appealing. Three or four little restaurants in town. The place is clean and quiet and everyone we ran into was pleasant. Bring a book or iPad or something for your evenings.

Although a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and the pizza place we ate at was very good.
Clark's store has everything you need for hiking, dinner or a quick snack. Really good coffee

Such a cute little quaint town.
Such a cute little quaint town. There isn't much, but it's great. A few little quaint restaurants, and a gas station, and it's just adorable. Highly recommend starting at Bryce Valley Lodging, mini cabins, little personal adorable ones! You won't be disappointed! Great fun.

Tropic was just a short drive to Bryce Canyon and all the hiking. We enjoyed the coffee shop nearby (Bryce Canyon Coffee) and the restaurant that had live music (Showdowns Restaurant) in the evenings! We were there in early May 2023 and the weather was perfect, 35 to 45 degrees in the morning and 80's at the hottest.

Tropic is a great town being about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon. My partner and I stayed at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. With many other activities in the area such as ATVs or electric bicycles, Bryce Wildlife Outfitters is the place to go for ATVing. For Dinner I’d recommend Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe and Arriba Mexican Grill. For coffee we went to Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. Inside the park there is dining at Bryce Canyon Lodge, we ate at the buffet for breakfast.

Spent 1 night here as a stop over.
Spent 1 night here as a stop over. Our accommodation was fine but Tropic itself is limited and not helped by the strictly enforced Utah rule of not having a beer without food. In the restaurant this was very odd and we couldn't have a second beer because we hadn't ordered enough food!
The bed and breakfast fit our travel needs. Visited Bryce Canyon off season and a lot of the area is closed for the season. Tropic was an easy drive to the park.
You let yourself in to the building and the rooms have coded locks. There is a coffee bar with yogurt and soda in the kitchen area. I used the free washer and dryer. The owner came in the morning to make breakfast. 7-up pancakes with homemade jam and syrup. 😋 We enjoyed socializing with the owner and other travelers during breakfast.
The Bybee Stepping Stone is a fun, small hotel in Tropic. The room was well-designed and very clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Added bonus: they have real king beds versus hotel-sized King beds. We liked having chairs outside the room to sit outside in the evening, and the extra seating area to the side of the hotel is great. I'd stay here again. There are a couple of restaurants, a coffee shop, and a laundry mat within a two-block walk of the hotel.
It is a very convenient location - a short /scenic ride to Bryce Canyon. Tropic is a very small town and very peaceful, at night. The cabin experience was nice for a change of pace. There are a couple of restaurants directly across the road and a a small grocery. The Rustler's Restaurant - across the road, serves a good breakfast.
Wonderful location in Tropic. Playground for the 2 year old with us. Watched sunset from rockers on front porch. Convenient to restaurants and stores in town. Away from the busyness of Bryce Canyon City yet close to the national park. New log cabin in great condition. Nicely decorated with rustic furniture.
Very nice property. Emily and Joe were the perfect hosts, they offered a freshly cooked and delicious breakfast. Quiet location, good to explore the Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome Basin. Conveniently located on Scenic Byway 12.
The nearby town of Tropic provides basic necessities and has some very nice restaurants.

Everything! Our stay was just amazing! Cute and typical little wood cabins, clean and with parking in front of the room. Great restaurant nearby with a delicious menu and super friendly staff. Friendly and helpful staff also at the reception. We really enjoyed it.
The location was perfect for our visit to Bryce Canyon and Grand Staircase. Our room was good size and the beds were very comfortable. Emily and Joe's hospitality was generous and beyond accommodating! Breakfast meals were delish😋
We stayed here in Tropic for our 2-day visit to Bryce Canyon. Tropic is a small town with restaurants that are close to the location of the house. It was a great place to stay for our family of 5!
The property was located in the little town of Tropic but off the main road. The sunrises were beautiful over the farmland full of sheep and goats! The cabins were also very quiet!
Great location near Bryce Canyon, and a great apartment. Very comfortable, very clean, well-equipped. We instantly felt at home. And Jennifer is a lovely and dedicated host :)
The location of Tropic was good for visiting Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed Showdowns for dinner, gas and ice for our cooler was right down the street as well as a great BBQ place.
Location was ideal for Bryce Canyon and other canyons. Tropic was great. House was spacious, well equipped, washing machine and drier great. Price was good.
