It is a charming high desert town with massive history and stories to tell. The people are very friendly and the town is safe. There are sufficient goods and services for anything you will need. It is very clean and maintained with a strong sense of community pride.

Tonopah is an interesting town with several thing to see. The cemetery at the end of town is extremely interesting and the Clown Motel, which is next door. The Tonopah Station had a very good restaurant, Stage Stop Cafe, and very interesting items on display. The mine is also worth seeing.

Tonopah was a small Silver Mining town in its heyday until the silver ran out. The Air Force Found the flatness of the valley ideal as a base for training pilots. the stealth bomber was tested at night in this area to keep the project a secret. The town has a star gazing park where the surrounding light is limited in order to give you a spectacular view of the stars. we ate at the Mizpah restaurants but there are more in town. Getting around town is easy. Parking is free on the streets and most businesses have parking lots.

Tonopah might not be a destination but if you must stay, the town does offer the basics for fuel, lodging, food, and personal necessities. One historic building has been nicely converted into the very charming Hotel Belvada, a most unusual find in this part of the state. The Tonopah mining museum is huge, covering a large area with indoor and outdoor exhibits and hundreds of pieces of artifacts. The museum is a great place to spend a few hours.

Tonopah has a small local community in an isolated location in Nevada served by a road from Las Vegas towards Reno. It is known for the quality of star watching because it is in such an isolated spot. It is worth a look and there is a star gazing location sign posted from the centre of town if you want to get that spectacular view of the Milky Way!
The mattress is exceptionally comfortable. The hallway and room were clean and the room size is comfortably big enough. The front desk check-in was quick and easy. The staff answering questions was in a professional manner. The day of our arrival was 108 degrees and we drove a long way in the hot weather, but when we walked into our assigned room, the air-conditioning had been on and the room was very comfortable! That was a big plus there!! The hotel has an elevator, and is newer than the nearby Best Western.
We’ve stayed here quite a few times passing through in our travels; we love the Victorian style of the hotel and the option to have a cocktail and a meal within the hotel. The rooms are good size, nice large TV and the coffee Keurig in the room is a perk. Room floors are fairly quiet. Generally, the staff strives to be accommodating. I also really enjoy the Cline vineyard wine, which I discovered several years back on a trip to the wine country.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It was a very welcome and comfortable stop on a hot and long journey across the desert. Very pleasant staff, great facilities for a small hotel and just what we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Very VERY clean room, considering that all of their rooms are pet friendly, and the rate was exceptional. The best western was more than twice the price and since I stayed there last time, I know it’s a huge rip off.
The room was really lovely and we had 2 TVs as well. I enjoyed reading in the gorgeous lobby too. We ate dinner at their sister hotel across the street and it was very good.
