The front desk lady she helped us as much as she could, it wasn't her fault and I could kinda see she really felt bad about what happened and did the best she could.

Location was fine. Breakfast was certainly ample, although the breakfast room really needs some blinds or some way to not have the sun in your face the whole time you are eating.
Our bathroom really need re-caulking around the shower etc.

Everything about this hotel is amazing!! And CLEAN
San Angelo, TX was just one stop on a 3-week road trip.
San Angelo, TX was just one stop on a 3-week road trip. We stayed 2 nights and didn't know what to expect about the town. We loved wandering around along the shady Concho River Walk and learning a bit of the history of the area. We spent the afternoon browsing in the Old Town Shops. It would make a great weekend getaway!

We only had Sunday for a visit so most of downtown was closed. Loved being so walkable to downtown and the dedicated riverwalk paths. When church got out The Twisted Burger got crowded so get there when they open at 11am. We walked a bit to Old Central Firehouse Pizzaria and were not disappointed. Nice outdoor dining, beer/cider/drink wall where you get to pour (and pay) for only what you want, so sampling is an option. We had the spicy pickle pizza and a limited time special with spicy bacon jam, cherry peppers and hot honey drizzle, on cauliflower crust, and both were great! No evidence of homeless in this area.

It's a nice town. My family are from there.
It's a nice town. My family are from there. I would even live there But I wouldn't call it a tourist destination. There is nothing there you really HAVE to see. I guess a visit to Old Fort Concho would be in order but don't go out of your way for it.

There's more to SA than meets the eye driving through.
There's more to SA than meets the eye driving through. I stayed at the wonderful Pearl of the Concho Best Western which has an amazing indoor pool, gaming area and playscape that would make a nice weekend vacay for a family. Sadly though, in walking the downtown, there's a huge need for revitalization as many of the building are abandoned and showing signs of decline.

San Angelo, is not easy to get to if your driving,
You get lead off Main Highway, to Route 277 for an isolated drive for 85 mile to San Angelo.
The breakfast was excellent. The hotel and rooms were very clean! I loved the lighting in the room! The brightest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It had ceiling lights and a large mirror across the whole back wall that really opened up and brightened the room. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was nice, just right off the highway loop and near all the other hotels and restaurants.
Perfect place to stay near shopping and good restaurants. We ate at the Grill across the highway (Happy Hour 4-6) and it was great. There's a big HEB nearby in case you want to cook in the room. Full Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was small but nice. My wife is a little pickier than me and she thought that the floor hadn't been vacuumed or at least not well.
The staff was attentive, respectful, and professional.
Thr facility was horrible. Sheets and towels were stained. Bathroom was way too small, door and trim seemed as a dog chewed on it. Ceiling sounded and moved as if the up stair people were going to fall through. The whole facility seemed to be condemned.
Everything about the hotel was wonderful. We were warmly greeted by helpful staff at the front desk. The room was beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Looks like a new property even though it isn't. The pool was sparkling. All areas were very well maintained.
Evening time front desk lady was nice and check in was quick. Room was utilitarian, but comfortable enough for a nights sleep. The hotel in general was quiet and appeared clean for the most part.
The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The pool was great. Loved that they were pet friendly. The room stayed cool and the curtains kept it adequately dark.
The hotel was extremely clean, bed very comfortable, room well appointed. Our area of the hotel was quiet and restful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
