We were able to check in early and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was closed at the facility, but they called the hotel next door and reserved the pool for us for an hour. Rooms were clean. Pillows were soft, bed was a bit too firm for our liking - but was comfortable. Breakfast selections were great - pancake machine, cinnamon rolls, muffins, hot eggs, sausage, cold cereal, variety of yogurts and juices and fresh fruit. We had a family of 5 in a queen suite. Good value. Close to shopping and restaurants.

It is in a great location and towards the outskirts of town, so it is quiet.
I was there for a Family Reunion, it was Great! Went to see the Pioneer Woman statue for nostalgic reasons, it was a very nice museum, we had a good time. I enjoyed it. We ate at a Braum's and were surprised how good it was and great prices. We drove around to see the homes and places we haven't seen in years, but mainly we were there to visit with family and for the reunion. We love Ponca!

There's is an incredible lack of decent hotels in ponca city. And I was surprised at how early everything closed. The old cobblestone streets were kind of cool and the houses are really cool but our hotel was so invested with bed bugs that they couldn't even offer us a room without them... Nor would they offer me even a partial refund.

I prefer to stay in Ponca City, because you have gambling options that are a close distance to each other. The hotel that I stay in is in between all the action. The rooms are nice and affordable, and there are restaurants near by. Getting around town is very easy, and my favorite spot was Osage Casino. I ate at Taco Bell but there were more options that were closed for the evening. I would avoid coming back late to your hotel, because the parking may be limited.

Gorgeous! We were in town for my nieces birthday.
Gorgeous! We were in town for my nieces birthday. We strolled through downtown, took lots of pics at city hall and marlin mansion. We ate breakfast at daylight donuts. There is a ton of things to see and do. We definitely did not have have enough time to do and see everything we wanted so we will be coming back!

Ponca City is full of history!
Ponca City is full of history! E.W Marland's homes, the Pioneer Woman statue and museum, Conoco Oil Museum and a tour of the Marland Grand Home on E. Grand Ave plus don't miss the Marland Mansion! It was the Palace on the Prairie. Also get the DVD about E W Marland and how he built Conoco Oil Co and his personal life. Very good!
The Ponca Lake and several parks are definitely worth a visit too!

The town is great but the motel was crappy I changed rooms three times because the accommodations requested format even though I had made reservations several weeks ahead and spoke to a motel and they said they had exactly what we needed because I am handicapped I have to ask for certain things

We were traveling back hone from Omaha to Austin. When we got a late start in Omaha, we needed something closer than our original choice in OKC. Ponca city was an hour and a half closer so we landed here. I’m so glad we did, we chose the larger king suite and it was perfect for us and our 3 kids. Ponca City is about 15 mins off the highway but it’s well worth the drive.
Cost was good budget-wise. Location was convenient to other restaurants, such as McDonald’s, Braum’s, etc. When budget is a shoe-string that’s a plus. Location was easy access to other main attractions, such as lake. Check in time at 2:00 p.m., was very good, didn’t have to wait until 3:00 p.m., like most other hotels.
My spouse said it was the best breakfast they have had had from any hotel we have stayed at in Ponca City recently. The staff was friendly and the noise level was very well controlled for a hotel; yet everyone was very friendly and seemed to be having a good time.
It was a poor and very limited selection. No waffle machine, no toaster, Jimmy Dean off the shelf sausage sandwitch. Cereal was stuck in the machine. All in all very poor compared to other hotels I have stayed in.
The hotel was bright and clean. Some of the staff were very nice and accommodating to guests. I was upset about the conditions of the U.S. flag outside, and was assured that it would be addressed.
New hotel. Carpets and floors were clean and new. Great mattress. One of the best I have slept on in a hotel. Fantastic shower. Nice walk in shower. Easy to get in and out.
Lovely hotel
Great rate
Great lobby space
Super friendly staff
Made us feel welcome as we are traveling with pets
Room size generous
Comfortable bed
Very nice linens
The staff was helpful, informative and friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. Good location in the sense that it was close to many stores and restaurants.
