My toilet was never cleaned, bed not made up day 2, only coffee replenished and towels that I had kept to reuse. For a high end, pricey Hotel, I expect more! Either bad trading or lack of care from room attendants.

The picture with the cotton and the words used next to this caption is offensive to black people considering the South is notorious for slaves which was my great great grandmother and grandfather who worked in the cotton fields “picking” cotton😡😡🤔. Really????

Not particularly clean.
Not particularly clean. Severe rusting in corners of bathroom shower door.
Scent in lobby is unacceptable! In this day and age the hotel should recognize that this can be a trigger for those with respiratory issues.

Opelika is a great city with friendly people.
Opelika is a great city with friendly people. Country, suburban, and city options for real estate. Dining is diverse. Traffic is excellent, in comparison to other cities. Opelika is a place you would love to call home.

The greater Opelika/Auburn area is is very nice.
The greater Opelika/Auburn area is is very nice. Everything one could want, include a beautiful state park is only 15 minutes away from most places. The businesses and residential areas are spread out nicely with many hills and forests all around. It could be used as a model for other areas. One significant thing that it lacks is a great public transportation system. Like most cities in the USA, without a car you would be crippled here. Only after this area has an excellent public transportation system, like you find all over europe and latin america, will it qualify as a great model for other cities.

I really like this hotel from.the staff to the building itself. Its clean and not.far from.resturants and shopping. And they are friendly for.people who.have dogs. But I did not like the breakfast at all. But you have other options not to far from the property. And, I dont like the coffee. But, that's because I can"t have dairy and the creamers are dairy. And the coffee is alittle weak for my taste. And the coffee machines in the room doesn't give me an option to bring my own coffee. So it's not much to complain about . Because i just go to Starbucks down the street. But if in the future you would like to adjust anything I would so go back to the drawing board on the breakfast.😆 I would recommend having a non dairy creamer option.😊hazelnut lol . And giving the coffee machines in the rooms the options to make their own coffee. So coffee makers with filters not the pre packaged coffee filters. Thank you!! But overall that's nothing I dont stay at any other hotel.but this one. I have no other complaints . I wound still.pick.this hotel

We have had a son and a Nephew that have graduated from Auburn . Opelika is about 20 minutes out of Auburn , so often it’s easier to get more reasonable prices on many things such as Motels and Hotels. Not as rushed and busy as a college town . My favorite place in Opelika is Angels Antique and Flea Market, this store is Huge!! Something for everyone. If you are on a limited budget and are a Auburn fan get your Auburn shirts , sweatshirts , hats Ect at the Walmart between Opelika and Auburn. There is a shop within the Walmart that sells great quality Auburn clothes / keepsakes .
A wonderful experience! The building is beautifully furnished with antiques. Dani and Leif were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent every day and they did a great job accommodating my vegan wife. There are lots of great places to eat and drink within walking distance. If we ever find ourselves in Opelika again we will definitely be staying at the Heritage House!
Everything was great. The staff are warm and friendly. The hotel is a strict smoke-free location, which was awesome due to my asthma. They are very attentive to their guest needs, and if they are busy and can not get something to you right away, they have a robotic helper that brings guest supplies to the hotel room door.
NOTHING....sometimes he's cheaper & it's closet 2 the $20 it's worth if that much...I've given him thousand& he's take $$ after Ieft.....he's a greedy selfish man....I'll continue 2 pay my $400 wkly for a descent place!!
I arrived early, the hotel manager was really kind. She allowed me to check in early. The staff was friendly and always asked if I needed anything. The hotel was neat and clean as well as my room.
A bit dated hotel next to highway in Opelika. The check in was relatively smooth, the rooms clean but very much dated. The beds were comfy - a good budget choice when driving through USA.
The breakfast was very good and the area was very clean. Pretty neat how there was a small bar in the hotel even though we did not use it! The staff was very helpful!
