THE BED WAS EXCELLENT! BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, BUT THE BISCUITS NEEDED TO BE WARM. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY THE STAFF HANDLED A DIFFICULT GUEST BEFORE ME.

I was in Meridian to visit family, as this is my hometown. Other than family, there's not much in Meridian. I wish this wasn't the case, but it is. Except for certain few annual events, there's not much to do.

I liked the look of the hotel, very unique. I did not get clean towels without asking for them and my room was never cleaned for the 4 days I stayed. The room was stuffy as if the air conditioner wasn't working properly.

We had driven over 800 miles and had another 500 miles to drive the next day. Just wanted someplace decent to sleep. Room was smelly, musty, damp and sheets were clammy. Room floor felt sticky to bare feet so I always wore my sandals. Hallway had dehumidifier in it. Shower/tub enclosures in back of lobby. Breakfast wasn't much. Orange juice came out like yellow colored water. Ice machine didn't have any ice.

Meridian has lots of places to eat and shop, we visited the Harley Davidson dealership which was very nice and has very friendly staff.
My husband and I went for the weekend just to get away so we didn't have a lot of time but will definitely return.
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The lobby was beautiful. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was soo quiet and peaceful. I didn't eat breakfast but my fiance did and he said it was wonderful! Said it tasted like his grandmother's cooking. Everything was so wonderful. I look forward to staying again.
It’s few and far between when you come across a hotel doing things their way, and succeeding! The free happy hour drinks and meal at night was outstanding, rooms are clean, breakfast had a decent selection. The overall vibe in this hotel is fantastic! It was booked out, IHG across the road wasn’t and there is a reason why!
The room was nice, we especially liked the bathroom layout. So many hotel bathrooms nowadays have very limited space. In some hotels, you actually have to move, once you're inside, in order to close the door behind you. There was a good selection of breakfast choices as well. The staff was friendly and courteous.
I think the Hampton Inn Meridian must give their crappiest rooms to booking.com customers. I was given a room on the second floor where I had to make my way through a construction zone to get there. The room wasn’t too bad, although the carpet was actually “crunchy!” Yuck! Horrible experience
The location and price was good. It seemed like a renovated motel 6. The accommodations were nice and the bed was comfortable. The room had a large refrigerator, microwave and small kitchenette. The staff was very helpful and even helped bring our luggage up the stairs to the second floor.
Very, very clean room. Very nice staff. Breakfast was good but not above average: warm eggs and waffles. Everything you'll see in a Hotel like this. It was very hot at the time we were there and the climate was okay-ish. As in many hotels is was quite muggy. Temperature was good though.
Absolutely nothing. This employee put us in a room that should have been condimed. Liquid was draining down walls stains on bed dirty soap still in shower. I would not have this hotel available for anyone to book. It was literally discusting. Was scared to sit my bag down.
Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfortable and loved the look of the hotel. The boxcar was a great space to grab some food and a drink. The room felt very secured which was important since I was a mom traveling with her 16yr old daughter.
The room was acceptably clean but the outside, the reception area and the corridors were dirty. The reception area was not attractive at all. The price was much too high for what one gets at this hotel. Will not return for another stay.
Nice hotel, my room was clean, didn’t smell, everything worked, the bed and pillows were perfect and i didn’t hear any noise fro the hallway….just a nice place to get a good nights sleep
This hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and very spacious, comfortable beds, friendly staff, amazing breakfast (it exceeded my expectations). I will definitely stay here again.
It’s a nice hotel the staff very friendly. The room was clean there a lil on the small size but ok for one night. Breakfast was good. And the hotel is near a lot of restaurants.
Staff was great. Amenities were limited. Must have not red the fine print that it was under construction. Had to pay for my breakfast. Room was great. Great location.
Easily accessible, and convient area. Quiet hotel with cozy, simple room.
