The condo was delightful, the location was perfect! We will definitely stay again. The condo was spotless, the neighbors were quiet, the host left specific helpful information. We walked everywhere!
Lots of family friendly activities on a budget. We love Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds tour and walk-ability of downtown area with plenty of food options, parks with playgrounds and shops to get momentos. We love coming here annually as an economical family vacation with lots to do! We enjoyed eating at The Keg, Savelli's Italian, and Crystal Park Cantina as well as coffee from Red Dog.

This has always been my favorite town.
This has always been my favorite town. Because I’m a runner I have access to the most amazing hikes/climbs on Pikes Peak. Lots to do downtown. Great shopping, restaurants, coffee shops. Not too far if you want to go to hot springs. Amazing areas.

Absolutely adorable little tourist area in this town.
Absolutely adorable little tourist area in this town. It's super close to Colorado Springs, but nestled within the mountains. So, you can feel like you're much farther away from the 'city' than you actually are. There are lots of lovely little locally owned shops and restaurants, and though we did not partake there is an adorable arcade/games area. Really wonderful area!

I loved Garden of the Gods, and it is free.
I loved Garden of the Gods, and it is free. I enjoy hiking and running and there are many trails in the area. Downside was that there were lots of other tourists there and you had to make reservations for many activities instead of going whenever you wanted to. Overall a spectacular city to visit!

Manitou Springs was one of the first early settlements in...
Manitou Springs was one of the first early settlements in Colorado. It sits at the base of Mt. Blue Sky (Pikes Peak) but too close to see the mountain. You can take a really pretty mountain drive right out of Manitou Springs and enjoy hikes along the way. It has a lovely Historic downtown area with many Victorian buildings. There are great restaurants and fun gift shops. A creek runs through town with a park along its sides and a lovely walkway. It's not large so a day or two in town is plenty for the town itself. But the mountains are gorgeous and you could spend a lifetime there.
Colorado City, Colorado's first capital, sits next to Manitou. It's full of antique arcades and candy stores, small walkways, and hot dog cafes. Both towns are just outside of Colorado Springs so the usual city entertainments, clubs, restaurant fare and movies are close by.
The Broadmoor is a gorgeous, enormous historic hotel to just go see. It's grounds are lovely, including a lake with manicured landscaping and walkways and the Olympic Ice Skating training rink. The accompanying Golden Bee is a very unique and old restaurant with a huge dark wood, mirrored bar, bartenders with arm garters, and darling embroidered bee emblems with sticky backs they give to children (or anyone else who asks). The food is great. It's the picture of a posh place in the 19th century West. Don't miss it!

The staff was rude and kicked us out after we paid because of a service animal and my autistic son. And take a copy of my credit card because of my service animal for seizures and told me that was unacceptable.

This is a beautiful, historic hotel in the perfect location!!!! We really enjoyed our stay there. However the hotel seemed understaffed (as many hotels are these days) and there were problems with the valet and parking on the weekend. The waiter in the restaurant got my order wrong, but the food was very good. Some of the staff didn't seem to care very much, while others were great. I would stay again in hopes the hotel gets more settled after the covid employee shortage.
This loft is right in the heart of Manitou Springs, and made our family vacation so much more comfortable and relaxing than a standard hotel. Every scenic activity is just mere minutes away, lots of coffee/bakery/ice cream options, funky shops and good food. Dedicated parking place, we walked a lot, enjoyed the views, and had a wonderful time! The loft was perfectly clean and meticulously made up from bedding to kitchen to lounging. We loved it.
I stayed 1 night and it was a a great stay. The staff was very welcoming. The hotel public areas seem new and are very clean and smell nice. The room was kind of dated but perfectly clean so that’s not a problem! Continental breakfast as good and they keep coffee and water in the lobby for guests at any time which was a nice touch. I recommend this place as it is clean, decently priced and has everything that a more expensive hotel would have.
My experience at Owl’s Nest @ Manitou was fantastic! This snug condo is centrally located in Manitou Springs and comes with a secure garage for parking. The condo is fully equipped, providing a homey atmosphere. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, thanks to clear instructions. I wholeheartedly rate this place 10/10. I highly recommend it for a cozy and hassle-free stay!
The owner was an absolute JOY and was incredibly helpful with area restaurants, shuttle, and attraction information. She always had a kind and joyful smile for us when she saw us coming and going on the property. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The entire hotel had a retro vibe to it and we felt like family the entire time. We will definitely be coming back.
Although had booked a room, upon seeing it, did not stay, rebooked immediately into an alternative hotel.
Room was sub standard, carpet was grim, bathroom mildew, flaking plaster, cracked tiles.no bedside lamps, 1 bedside cabinet. Booked and paid for breakfast. Was informed no breakfast available now as end of season.
The Magnuson Grand Pikes Peak was a reasonably priced hotel near all the sites you would want to see when visiting Manitou Springs. The hotel is not fancy, but clean. Staff is pleasant and helpful, and breakfast room has great coffee and several options for a simple breakfast.
This is a whole house, a few minutes (steep) walk from the main street of Manitou Springs. There is a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, bathroom, large laundry. The bed is very comfortable. The house is warm and there is a porch to sit on.
The location in Manitou Springs was good - close to lots of places to visit and walking distance to the main tourist area.
The staff were friendly. The room was a good size with a nice sitting area. Grab and go breakfast was fine
This was a wonderful experience. Greeted by such a nice young woman with a fresh attitude. Great room, great food, beautiful surroundings and wonderful location! We will be back on our next trip to Manitou Springs, CO!
Staff was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. There was a pool, though we didn't use it. The air conditioning worked very well. It was only 1.2 miles to downtown Manitou Springs, which made a nice walk.
spotless retro motel. Bed linens-and towels were clean and nicer than budget. Located on the road, but so are all the other motels in this area. Better alternative than staying in Colorado Springs!
Location was ideal as Manitou Springs parking/traffic is hectic for tourists. Room was as expected and satisfied with cleanliness. Was impressed with coin laundry services onsite!
door and front desk staff was A++. Really friendly engaged and kind at every possibie exchange. That made a huge impact pn me and the hotel was sold out, and they were busy.
It was a great surprise to enjoy an indoor pool and hot tub. The room was perfect for a couple. It was near the Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs.
