It is an amazing place to stay, we were driving from Toronto to Rhode Island. It is a beautiful, easy and sophisticated place—very nice and breakfast. We will definitely return. Air conditioning was not at the top in that room, but the owner immediately reacted to resolve it.

Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were so friendly and intent to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house was decorated with so many beautiful items and great care was given to surround the guests in music and art.

I really liked the fact that there is a walking/hiking/biking trail that goes along the Canal. Bring a bike and you can cycling for 40 or more miles! I loved that fact. People were very friendly and proud of their town. Be sure to visit the Herkimer Home and take the tour! Amazing!!! You will see and live revolutionary war history and beyond!

Cute little town.
Cute little town. Loved the antique stores and Herkimer hunting at Diamond Mountain Mining. Took a nice walk through the woods to find Buttermilk Falls which was beautiful. Went down to the Erie Canal, Lock 17 and saw the hydroelectric plant and the Mohawk River. Also, went to the single lane Wood Covered Bridge. Took a drive to Top Notch Drive which sits at the top of a mountain near wind mills that produce electricity. The view was amazing. It felt like you were on top of the world. The farm.land is gorgeous too!

Loved the history of the Mills and little falls and how the mill Incorporated that into the naming of the rooms! Great restaurant right across the street too! Parking was easily accessible to the Inn as well!
I loved the historic nature of this Inn. Having breakfast included was very nice. My room was large. The public areas were very nice and it was great to know this building was saved from destruction. Location is GREAT! It is right on the bike/walking Eric Canal trail. There is a cafe and ice cream shop as well as pizzeria downstairs but their hours are not too long as they close early in the evening. Staying at this Inn was MUCH better than staying at a chain motel. Employees at the Inn were amazing and very helpful and friendly!
Spacious, comfortable room. Large windows overlooking the Mohawk R and Erie Canal. Enjoyed the fact that we could come and go as we pleased, and had access to the “Board Room” and kitchen where refreshments were made available. Breakfast was basic, but coffee was plentiful. Great locals breakfast cafe right across the street, as was gourmet continental restaurant for dinner. Little Falls is a lovely small town with history and ambience. Close enough to Cooperstown for our visit to the Hall of Fame.
We were welcomed in such a genuine way and felt cocooned and comfortable as we would at a dear aunt’s home. Open door policy to the office for phone, and kitchen for generous snacks at all times made this boutique, but not expensive, hotel a total winner for us. Did we mention the historic building that houses the inn….. superb, as is the close walking access to the Mohawk river and Erie Canal lock 17. We would never stay anywhere else if in the area again.
It was a very unique property! My family spent so much time just walking around and exploring all of the rooms and the decor was fascinating. The bathrooms were amazing and there was plenty of space.
Members of my family were trying to think of reasons to visit Little Falls again in the future just to be able to rent this property again, so it left a wonderful impression. You won't be disappointed if you rent this for any reason.
The staff were some of the best I've run across in my decades of travel. Genuine appreciation for each and every one of them, from the front desk staff to the room attendants. So much within walking distance; shops, restaurants, and the best bakery around, "White Rose," on Main Street.
We really enjoyed our stay in this historic building in the historic district in Little Falls. The rooms, all on the third floor were very quiet and comfortable with a congenial homey atmosphere. We were riding the Erie canal trail and this was a great stopover place.
Very clean. ATM machine available. Fresh coffee in the lobby. Staff very knowledgeable of the area. Always nice and answered all my questions. Always wanting to make sure you were taken care of and did not need anything.
