Friendly staff, clean room. We only stayed one night but it would be a great place for several nights with the kitchen set-up.

First room we were in had ticks so we asked to move the second had a horrible stench to it. Tv didn't work, curtains were on floor, lots of paint crumbs on bed. Just awful.
Don't stay at America's Best Inn? If this is America's Best, I would HATE to see America's Worst! This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! They couldn't pay me to stay here again! The room was filthy and hazards to your health!
My leg got ripped open by a bed rail that stuck out past the bed box spring mattress.
There was mold in the walls that was pained over. There was mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom; pubic hairs and rust in the bathtub; dirt on the floors; feces on the wall behind the toilet; streaky mirrors; semen on the bedspread; hole in the blanket under the bedspread; cigarette ashes on the windowsill; and a window so dirty you could barely see through it!
Why didn't I check YELP reviews before booking here through Booking.com?
DISGUSTING!!!!

The decor in arrival area was nice.
The decor in arrival area was nice. The sky lined with vine plants, was enviting. The rooms smelled and looked clean. There were plenty of towels for whole family. Could have more coffee. The bananas for breakfast were only good part. Mini packed muffins were all else. Picture on booking was not the hotel at all! I would go there again. They were pleasant .

Overall it was okay. The bathroom was my biggest complain.
Overall it was okay. The bathroom was my biggest complain. The shower head was broken and no hot water unless you took a bath. The tub had mildew under the rim between wall and tub and lots of little hairs behind shower curtain. The bed was firm but comfortable, needed more or better pillows. Breakfast was okay not slot to choose from but waffles were good.
You can tell it once was a very nice hotel it just needs a facelift

The location is central, close proximity to restaurants and the freeway. The motel is clean and the owners were quite pleasant people. We didnt stay too long, just two nights. For breakfast there was Coffee, tea, juice, bread, butter, waffles, muffins and cereal and bananas. Overall a pleasant stay.
Bad bad. The place was very dirty. Hallways smell like smoke since they have a bar inside the facility/building. I traveled memorial weekend, everything else was booked and this was literally only hotel available. Once I walked in the room immediately I wanted to walk away. It’s was very late and didn’t have another option. Was also scared to sleep in car. Bad experience. I traveled with my kids and husband.
The location was fine. The room was dirty, including pubic hair on the toilet. Then we left my daughters glasses and they keep telling us they aren't there. So $300 is lost due to their unhonesty. Then, that property manager called the property manager at the new hotel i went to and started trouble for me here. I will never stay or recommend super 8 in Texas city, or Palace Inn in Dickinon.
I read other reviews before booking and was a little concerned but was the last hotel for holiday weekend. I was surprised it was very clean staff was friendly, housekeeping even came in on our 2nd day and made beds and took out trash. Breakfast was donuts, toast or cereal. It was good to tide us over till lunch. There were no roaches
I had a king room. It's a older hotel. But my room was large. Bed was very firm but was clean. Heater worked well. A cold front came through so it was 35 degrees. Room was clean and everything worked. I'd stay again.
Close to work, restaurants and my house that is being remodeled. This hotel is a low priced hotel that caters to industrial workers looking for a low priced place to stay while traveling and working.
