Our room (505) was more than we expected, though there were small levels (i.e. a few stairs upon entry and to the kitchen & bathroom) but no big problem at all. Previous reviews call for a new upgrade but we didn’t find that in our room- clean and everything looked fresh. The room was at the end of the fifth floor with two rooms close but we heard no noise from other rooms or from above. No pet sounds either and the hotel was reported full. The desk person (Anita) was very helpful and cheerful in making us feel welcomed when our room was ready (earlier than we expected). We parked in the back in the open area (not in the garage) and found no problem as the hotel has an elevator to all floors.
Note there will be a $17 charge for parking. Breakfast was very good. The City Brewery had an entrance right off the hotel lobby so we did have a quick beer but Pratt Street is practically across the street where we found Vaughan’s Public House (an Irish Pub & Restaurant) where we had an excellent dinner. Anyway, we had no complaints and, based on this experience, would return to stay.

Beautiful city if you stay at the right place. There's a lot to explore. The food was delicious and I was unaware of this beforehand because it can actually be really hard to find the good places when trying to look them up. It's almost better to drive around until you see something you might want to check out. For reference I ate at the Max Downtown and Trumbull Kitchen. Also there are parking garages literally everywhere. Just be aware of their closing times.

The hotel was great.
The hotel was great. I came in on the train which was a two minute walk to the hotel. We dined at Black Eyed Sally's which was a very short walk from the hotel. Also, we enjoyed walks in Bushnell Park.
The woman minding the Continental Breakfast section, was very pleasant however there were items missing such as butter and I expected more fresh fruit like apples and oranges.
Overall, my stay was enjoyable.

It is a city with many beautiful older buildings, lovely parks. And a lot of homeless and a mix of business people who feel better than other people. The architecture is gorgeous. The people leave something to be desired. Stores close early and open up late. Very hard to get any kind of pet food. Unless you take transportation or drive miles on

I loved visiting the Mark Twain House but as we tried to find some interesting things to do there in the Hartford area, we didn't find much to our personal interests. We were there to watch the UConn men's soccer team but I'm not certain I'd revisit except for that reason alone. We did however learn that the witch trials originally happened here 30 years (app 1660's) before the Salem Witch Hunt but I found little to do in Hartford to learn more about this. The food in the city was good with a good selection of restaurants.

We only stayed at Hartford for one night, as a stop on our way to the Mohawk Trail / Mount Greylock. I wish now that we had allowed for a day's stay there as by the time we had seen only a little of the attractions of Hartford it was well into the afternoon. Places like Mark Twain's house and the River development are a must. If we ever get back to New England Hartford will be on our stay for a while list. An easy city to find your way around. almost limitless choices for excellent dining.
The room was decent size for our family of 3. The location is ideal for anyone wanting or needing to be in downtown Hartford. The morning breakfast room was quite cozy and situated on the ground floor at the corner of the building with street front windows. Such a prime spot is not your typical morning coffee location, but very much appreciated. The old (style?) leather couches and chairs were a nice added touch.
Quiet area, close to downtown Hartford. Good restaurant called Chowder Pot within walking distance. Glad there were USB ports/electrical outlets by the night stand. Comfortable bed. Glad there were some breakfast items included like coffee, juice, cereal, milk, applesauce, peanutbutter and crackers, donuts. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and comfortable, Restaurant food was excellent. WiFi was good as well. Service technicians for the TV came and helped as well as they could. Having Starbucks in the hotel was an added bonus. The downtown location was close to the train station, other restaurants, and the art museum.
Excellent views over the Hartford Skyline. Apartment beautifully and tastefully decorated, bed was super comfy, great water pressure in the shower, rooms are spacious. Used both the washer and dryer which were great. A truly lovely apartment with a super responsive host.
The hotel is good and quiet. Perfect location in Hartford centre with lots to do around and very short drive to West Hartford. Great value for the money! Parking in the garage for free was a great added value too.
Information was provided timely and promptly. Very easy to access based on codes to enter building, access keys. Being present in the heart of Hartford, access to the city is excellent. a cozy place for two.
