Amazing mall, six flags, excellent restaurants (Giordano's was the best!), easy commute to Milwaukee to visit the Harley Davidson Museum. Walmart and Target are on main road, most parking lots accommodate large vehicles (we drove our Ram 3500 Dually and had no problems), there is a rainforest café in the mall. We did 2 escape rooms at 60 to escape in Gurnee Mills and had a blast! The cost of everything was very reasonable

Gurnee is in-between a couple of sketchy cities/towns.
Gurnee is in-between a couple of sketchy cities/towns. Namely Waukegan. I'm not racist whatsoever, but the type of white, black or brown people nake a difference. Gurnee overall isn't my favorite place. It seems to attract trashy people.

We visited the Mills mall.
We visited the Mills mall. It was large, busy and had lots of interesting stores. We went to the Rainforest Cafe which we liked but it was overpriced. We tried to get a reservation on line but they were booked until 8pm. We went anyways and told no tables until 8pm. We asked about seating in the bar and they said it was open seating so we got a table in the bar with no wait and mostly the same experience. We loved the Bass Pro shop however and made a few purchases. We had our young granddaughter with us so we didn't walk the whole mall. The town seems like a nice suburb in north Chicago.
Breakfast was typical hotel continental- perfectly fine. We arrived at 8:45 (closes at 9:00) but the way they tried to close up shop at 8:50 was a BIT pushy. Lots of loud dragging of chairs and making it obvious that it was time to go. There were about 20 people left in the restaurant at this point but my suggestion would be to chill and keep the noise down so we can enjoy a quick bite. Overall friendly service and great location. Great deal. If you want carryout pizza don't miss Lou Malnati's right down the street- amazing pizza.
The place was nice and close to wear I had to travel. But as far as the hotel it was very nice and clean. I even arrived a bit early for check in and the staff did everything possible so I can get my room. But the best part was that I discovered that the AC unit was not working properly and informed the front desk and they took care of it right away by issuing me another that was available and the AC working perfectly. Breakfast was wonderful. Nice and well prepared. Thank you to the all the staff that made our stay wonderful.
the cleaning is great the staff is friendly the cleaning ladies do their best to leave you the best they can to make you happy. the manager is very kind a woman that is the most incredible thing I have been to other hotels in the American Union and they are dirty and stinky of marijuana it is obnoxious if you travel with children, the price is good, I would say and besides everything the pool is clean .It is really great, the beds, finally, are the best, I hope it continues like this and that the lady manager continues
Location is a good place to stay if you want to go the Chicago is you don’t mind a little drive to get there. Basically next door to the mall. Hotel was remodeled since the last time we stayed here. Bed was super comfortable and so where the pillows. Had dehumidifier in the rooms that you have to empty but I found this to be very helpful in sleeping at night so your room and you weren’t sticky from the humidity. If you didn’t want it to run you can easily turn it off. Shower was clean and water pressure was great!
Very clean location with an indoor pool and good access to the gurnee mills and six flags if that’s your thing. The staff were excellent and really helpful with local tips and advice. Comfortable beds and only service rooms when you ask rather than wasting resources with scheduled services. Excellent value for money given some of the properties we’ve stayed in from Illinois to Florida.
The gentleman at the front desk, Jeremiah, was absolutely wonderful. As soon as I got to my room he called and asked if the room was to our satisfaction and I have NEVER received a call from any other hotel asking that question. He always had a smile on his face and saw him go out of his way for other customers as well. Great stay, price and staff! Would absolutely stay again.
The place was nasty and smelly. The bed was nasty a saw bed bugs on nasty sheets. My family and I ended up at another hotel. The big white lady at desk was very nasty an would not refund our money. Please do not go to this place. It was fully off people just standing around smoking. Horrible, Horrible Horrible.
The staff was very helpful and kind! The room was very nice and the beds were very confortable, I loved the fact to have coffee in the lobby. Location was awesome, many restaurants around the hotel ! Six flags is a cross the street.
We really enjoyed to be there and we love everything!
I liked the price and the heat and a.c. worked really well. It's literally right down the street from Great America and the Gurnee Mills Mall. Good location. $66 for a queen size bed with two desks, fridge etc. they have a pool too. Continental breakfast too!
It was much better than expected for the price considering the quality of the motel and its location.
It was wonderful to get off the road to a nice hotel after driving hours in the rain.
